NGDP Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 If you had one question to ask Green Day about 21st Century Breakdown, what would it be?I would ask them why the hell Lights Out isn't on the album!
Haz Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I would ask them why they chose to not produce with Rob Cavallo
suicidexmakeover Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 why the fuck did it take so long ha jokes. i dunno something deep like what emotional states did you endure while painstakingly writing the album.
CarmenPunkGirl Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I would ask them why they chose to not produce with Rob Cavalloi've heard somewhere that he don't have a contract with warner anymore...or something like that
Foxboro Hot Tubs Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I don't really know what to ask right now I haven't heard the album so I don't know it yet .. but I'm sure I'd have a lot of questions after listening to it
Nele Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I would ask them why they didn't but Lights Out on the album too.
jtdscape Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 i've heard somewhere that he don't have a contract with warner anymore...or something like that Yep that is correct! He is no longer working with Warner so working with him was not an option.
Empty Laughter Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I'd ask them the story behind every song on the album, & what are their expectation... or what is that thing that they wanted to trasmit to people when they were writting it
.:Whatsername:. Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I'd have to hear the album and the lyrics especially before even being able to think of something to ask. We've heard two songs, for me that's definitely not enough to think of a good question.
Empty Laughter Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Yep that is correct! He is no longer working with Warner so working with him was not an option. That's why record companies suck! I mean.. if they wanted to work with Rob why they wouldn't be able to do it? ¬¬
The Grateful Green Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 guys enough with the "why didnt they put lights out on the album" there could be other songs on the album that are 10x better. so say that after the album is out not before
goldwing7500 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I would ask why they didn't put more songs on the album.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I don't know, I'd have to hear the album first (so no, not why they didn't put Lights Out on the album (and did put KYE on it), I'm sure there's a very good reason for that that we'll know by the time we have the album.)I would ask why they didn't put more songs on the album. There already are 18 songs on it, it's not like that's few or something
Eirik Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I would ask what the hardest song to write wasThat's a pretty damn good question..I would ask why they didn't put more songs on the album.Putting fillers into an album with already 18 songs is rarely a good idea, and including the bonus tracks, this is the longest Green Day album ever...
fashionvictim86 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I would say, why the hell didn't you play any secret shows anywhere else but fucking California!
The Grateful Green Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I would say, why the hell didn't you play any secret shows anywhere else but fucking California!hell yea. why cant they come to philly or ac?
Nele Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 There already are 18 songs on it, it's not like that's few or something The Clash once made an album with 36 songs. So that's not a good argument.
CarmenPunkGirl Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 After I'll hear it, i'll have a lot of questions and i think Lights Out it's not on the album because it doesn't fit into that story.... maybe
RougeRogue Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 After I'll hear it, i'll have a lot of questions and i think Lights Out it's not on the album because it doesn't fit into that story.... maybeThat's what I'm thinking too. That's why Shoplifter wasn't on the American Idiot...I'd definitely ask which song was the hardest to write. (like someone said earlier.) And maybe which song underwent the most changes/editing. And maybe which one took the longest, though that kinda ties in with hardest.
Angela. Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I would say, why the hell didn't you play any secret shows anywhere else but fucking California! Yeah, why not have a show in Pittsburgh or something?Anyways... my question would probably be... What song has the most emotional attachment for you (BJ, Mike, and Tre') individualy?
permanent_insanity Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I would want to know how the ideas developed between the songs, thats the same thing I would have asked about AI too
Rezurgam Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 What's the graffiti say on the artworks with Christian and Gloria kissing?
