wassoreal Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Have you guys seen this? someone takes a look at why the song works... pretty cool....http://musformation.com/2009/04/forensics-...ens-dreams.html
RebelofSuburbia Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 that was a good read but I kinda doubt the guys have ever thought about it that way, like 'oh let's add another I walk in there so it'll be more catchy'
Ally Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 ...interesting...but i think they look a bit too indepth if i'm honest!
Hermione Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 That was really interesting that was a good read but I kinda doubt the guys have ever thought about it that way, like 'oh let's add another I walk in there so it'll be more catchy'Yeah, I think it's more that they have a natural ear and talent for making a song work well. The songs just flow, and without them even having to think about it the technical side of things falls into place as a result. Natural born songwriting genius.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 That was a nice read, thanks for posting
J'net Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 That was really interesting Yeah, I think it's more that they have a natural ear and talent for making a song work well. The songs just flow, and without them even having to think about it the technical side of things falls into place as a result. Natural born songwriting genius.Of course you said just what I was thinking ! It just amazes me how often you do this. If I make it to the UK during this tour, we are gong to have to meet up.
one8two Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 interesting read.dunno if the band follow a 'template' to write songs, perse, or it just comes to them though...
Guest Billy Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 that's exactly how they made Boulevard of Broken Dreams. they added those lyrics to make it sound better, and that's what musicians do. it's not a natural sort of thing, you think of ways to make it catchy. all song writers do that to make it catchy, otherwise songs would be a lot more boring. we're all guilty of it.
permanent_insanity Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 that was a very interesting readnow I'm trying to remember what site had that sortof analysis for all their songs....
Hermione Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Of course you said just what I was thinking ! It just amazes me how often you do this. If I make it to the UK during this tour, we are gong to have to meet up. And visa versa. Yes! I bet they will be playing some fabulous gigs in London that you and I should both attend.
mechanicalman Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 That guy's listened to the song to many times I think. He needs to find a hobby or something.
Hermione Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 That guy's listened to the song to many times I think. He needs to find a hobby or something. It's not possible to listen to to it too many times
Katarina. Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Hmm.. Interesting Yeah, I think it's more that they have a natural ear and talent for making a song work well. The songs just flow, and without them even having to think about it the technical side of things falls into place as a result. Natural born songwriting genius. That's what I think as well.
Astrid. Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Great read. Thank you. All inspired by a girl spacing out in the supermarket Why is it that Tré usually (if not always) uses a headphone-thing during BoBD?
