they're getting a bit annoying for me, but i guess you can say i'm the smallest fan.

their songs sound very similiar and i'm losing interest fast, hard to believe i used to jizz my pants when i heard a word about the band.

edit: please don't come in here and make fun of people who don't like Green Day or the opposite.

I understand what you mean. There was a point in time where I remember distinctly that I was obsessed with the very existence of this band. And now it's not as if I dislike them, it's just I don't feel what I used to feel when I hear about them. It's funny, I kind of sometimes feel like it was a phase sort of thing, but then this new album still excites the shit out of me at times. I don't know. It's hard to explain, really.

Like, if they were on the radio, or TV, I would literally stop doing what I was and sit around and listen until it was over. And now, its like when I'm shuffling through my ipod, I simply skip a Green Day song if it comes forth, eh.

yeah, that's exactly how i feel.

i mean there's only one Green Day song i can listen to without getting bored and that's Poprocks and Coke.

it's just so boring to the point where i have my iTunes set up so that whenever i plug my iPod in i only get one Green Day song out of the hundreds i have on my iTunes.

They are my favorite band. However, after like 5 years of no new album, I did go through these like month long periods of just not listening to them so as to not become bored of them. I couldn't be more excited about the new album though.

I'm not nearly as obsessed as I used to be when I first joined, but they are still one of my favorite bands and I can't wait for the new album and I'm gonna cry my eyes out when I see them live, if they come. And if they don't come, I will cry my eyes out, too.

When I first got into them (late 2005) I would listen to their entire discography at least once a day. I went like that for about a year, and then I had to stop. I listened to them way too much and so there were like over a year that I just couldn't listen to them anymore. Recently I've started listening to the a lot more, though.

They are my 2nd favorite band, Nightwish being the 1st.
