Guest Shangri-La Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 :google:^ I've always wanted to use that.Doesn't gdc have a reviews section?
Guest Shangri-La Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 there's also youtube..... and the existence of woodstock '94..
**nobodylikesyou** Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 yeah gd concerts are ok. if you like the music.
Fuzz Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Yeah we have a tours section, and yeah we have reviews. But it won't hurt to have a thread from someone who's just looking for some personal opinions. Green Day are showmen, they know how to put on a good show, and don't disappoint. Some complaints come in from people who think Green Day should mix up the setlist more often, I went to two shows during the AI tour, and even though the sets were nearly identical, it was still just as fun the second time around. They definitely have a energy in them not matched by many. I also got to see them during the Foxboro show. That was something entirely different, yet somehow still the same. The band still brings out that energy on stage, and can get everyone jumping (and pushing) around. It's such a rush to see them. I don't think I've left feeling like the show went by too quickly. Singing at the top of your lungs and jumping all over can drain you, and it's a good feeling to be exhausted at the end of a show.
jose armstrong Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 yes, definitely, it's always a good feeling to be exhausted at the end.I'd pay to see Andres jumping and pushing
drumstick Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I wish I know how's that but I think there's no doubt that their concerts are amazing!
Ayame Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I wish I know how's that but I think there's no doubt that their concerts are amazing! Well, everyone who's seen Bullet In A Bible would know that! lolI haven't been to one, but judging from BIAB and GDC members' opinion, it seems great. I really want to go to one.
virysya Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Well, everyone who's seen Bullet In A Bible would know that! lolI haven't been to one, but judging from BIAB and GDC members' opinion, it seems great. I really want to go to one.me too

Naked and Famous Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I think Andres summed it up quite wellBut yea ~ Their shows have an energy like no otherYou definitely get your money's worth!!
djrossstar Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I've seen them over 30 times, every tour since Dookie. The shows are incredible, although the setlists lately haven't been the best. The Warning era was the best for that because they would literally play ANYTHING you asked them too, and not just "2000LYA".DJ Rossstar
Katarina. Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Well, everyone who's seen Bullet In A Bible would know that! lolI haven't been to one, but judging from BIAB and GDC members' opinion, it seems great. I really want to go to one.Yeah, me too!
Ally Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I've never been to one. Sorry.EDIT: I fail.me too lol, this time i am getting tickets no matter what, i want the experience firsthand!
Foxboro Hot Tubs Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 me too lol, this time i am getting tickets no matter what, i want the experience firsthand!oh yeahI think that is going to be an unforgettable experiencebut right now it seems so unbelievable and strange the past 5 years a Green Day concert was something to me that, I don't know how to explain itsomething where thousands of people are but just not me, soo unreal, soo unreachable .. yeah that could be the right word: unreachableit's sooo weirdand if I just think of the fact that I'll go to a concert this year I start jumping, crying, laughing, getting crazy
Nimrod99 Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Well, I'll put it this way. I only spend concert money on Green Day. No one else that I've seen even compares to a live Green Day experience (not to say that theother bands out there are crappy live). For me, Green Day shows are like nothing else. Even if your in the seating section, your ass is not planted in your chair.
chickin'pickin' Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Is a forum focused wholly on Green Day the best place to get a review on Green Day's concerts? I really don't think so.
thisisAB Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Green Day played the ACC last time in Toronto, and Brintey Spears (I didn't see her, god no) was here a few days ago, and the prices for floor "seats" were like $300. I really want to see Green Day, they put on a hell of a show, but will it really cost that much? Plus I want some of my friends to come, and they're not as huge of fans that would pay "any price" to see them. I dont wanna pay over 100 bucks, and I'd like floor seats, This could be a problem. If anyone saw them in Toronto last tour, could you help me out here?

I don't think the floor prices were a lot higher.
