What motivates you or makes you stay in GDC?

I'd say, we have a lot of talent, a lot of smart people, and good taste for music and arts as well.

Oh and full of epic people too, sometimes GDC makes me laugh even more than southpark.

I like that question.

The main thing that keeps me here is having so many people to talk to who have similar taste in music and some interesting things to say about it. Where I live, there aren't many people who share my enjoyment of Green Day, the Clash, etc.

I also do find it to be an amusing forum, but I'm more drawn by the Green Day topics than by the entertainment value of the other threads.

And, BTW, you are not a complete asshole. I often enjoy your comments (even when they are wrapped in a strand of barbed wire :wink: ).

Not much anymore, actually

I remember when I used to spend +10 hours a day here and it was not enough. Now I still come here everyday, but mostly just to check on my friends and see if there's anything new (and interesting). I kinda feel like an outcast here sometimes nowadays, can't keep up with the new people (imagine when the new album comes out and it will be FLOODED with newbies, I'll want to kill myself, heh), lots of regulars that I can't stand, and my friends seem to be slowly coming less here, too.

So did i! I was looking for that poster for a while, almost bought one on ebay, then got lucky when a Warner rep sent me a shitload of posters to giveaway on the site. So i kept one of the BIAB ones for myself. I think i gave the others away, but i'll look. If i still have one I'll send it to you, but not even sure i have one still.

Honestly, this forum is perfect. It is a place to geek about my fav band with other passionate GD fans. And, almost as much important as that, there are all the other topics, which can be discussed, like political or philosophical ones. And there are a lot of interesting, funny and smart people on here, from all over the world, which is awesome.
