Foxboro Hot Tubs show or Green Day show?

Oh well, i like both gd and foxboro...

but in terms of concerts probably a gd..the gd one i when to waas frekin' awsome there was fire and bj put his hands down his pants ....lol

But i supposee if you did go to a foxboro gig, you have more chance of meeting the band, and touching the band..all that kinda creepy stuff that fans do cause there would be little aduince..

i haven't been to eather but i would say Foxboro shows because then you are more of a chance of meeting the band and talking to them. In a Green Day show there would be just thousands of people and little to no chance of meeting the band

I haven't been to a FHT show, but it looks like a good time. I've seen Green Day live and it was awesome. I would have to go with GD on this one, but I like the venue size and cheap tix for FHT.

I haven't seen Green Day, but went to the FBHT show and I would think that would be better just cause of the intimate setting.

FBHT, hands down.

The Green Day concerts are amazing, quite a spectacle. Sound quality is excellent, lights and explosions. Definitely one of the best arena concerts I've ever been to.

FBHT - small, crowded, hot. Sound quality is rough, vocals are hard to understand sometimes. All that is unimportant, though, because Billie Joe in your face, touching, grabbing, crowd surfing. Eye contact with every band member, sharing the joy of the moment.

I think the FBHT is a once in a lifetime, twice if you're lucky!

A Foxboro Hot Tubs show is better than a green day show.

You get so close to the band at a Foxboro hot tubs show. You get on the stage and dance with them, hug them, get their sweat all over you, get beer poured on you, and actually go deaf watching them.

For me, i'd say they're both pretty different experiences. Foxboro's stuff is newer music, fun to jump around and get really close the band. But the stage presence of the band in front of 20,000 people is still exhilarating. i think i had a little more fun at the Foxboro's shows because we got to be so close with the band, but I enjoy the classic Green Day songs more...so....

I have seen two of each. And they are both fun in their own ways, FHT was funner. If the boys played Green Day music in front of 300 people that would be the ultimate experience, as they are so fun to see at a small place where you can interact with them. Not that we did or anything, but you could if you chose to.

I went to see green day on their american idiot tour, and FHT just recently, and i voted FHT

ONLY because the show was so awesome because of the environment. they were right in my face and i talked to tre and it was the first show i had been to where people were almost moshing around me... it was insane, and im sure it's the same amount of energy they put into the american idiot show i saw, but i was 6 FEET away from it this time!!!

i definitely like green day's music better than their FHT stuff though, it's not the music, it's the atmosphere

oh, and the PRICE goddamn it! i payed $20 to see FHT and $45 or something to go to a freaking arena

I loved seeing Green Day in 2005, and going on stage to play Mikes bass was insane. But the ticket was a zillion dollars, they were all 3 miles away......

The fact that I groped billie joe and mike and talked to tre at the Foxboro show... was well, definatly the sunburn/waiting in line/hotness/sweatyness!!!!

never been to either BUT i think in terms of music green day would be better. don't get me wrong, i like fht but prefer green day stuff by far. though in terms of atmosphere, intimacy, and actually getting to meet them, foxboro would be better. so it's a draw for me

you were pulled up to play bass on stage, however they were 3 miles way... what the fuck.

they pull up kids in the front 2 rows. so either you didnt get chosen, or they chose someone from the middle of the crowd .

and also, for a band like green day the price of the ticket shouldnt matter, within reason.

you expect to pay big bucks for an international act like that.

As good as seeing the Foxboro Hot Tubs was, with the smallness of the venue, and the intimacy and lunacy, I don't think it beats a Green Day show.

I actually voted for the Hot Tubs. The Green Day shows I have seen were fantastic but I think seeing them in such a small venue made it extra special. I love intimate gigs and being able to get so close to a band as big as Green Day is amazing.

Surely the real difference isn't whether it's Foxboro or Green Day, just whether it's a small or a large show. If you like small shows you'd like a small Foxboro or Green Day show. If you like big shows you'd like a big Foxboro or Green Day show. I would imagine which incarnation of the boys is playing would be almost irrelevent.

Everyone except me, loves the Foxboro Hot Tubs, and just because Green Day isn't working on the new album, you say the side project is better? 2 years ago, all of you were saying that BIAB was the best concert ever!!! and I still believe on that.
