What genres do you think are possible for the boys to pull out of their brilliant asses? We've got New Wave, we've got 60's garage... what could be next?***I tried searching, I think the search function effed up, sorry if there is already a thread like this***
Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Gangsta rap. I can picture it now:B 2 da JMizzle DizzleThug Cool
Marc. Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 tbh they're not that brilliant, just lucky in alot of sense that their stuff is catchy...If they did gangsta rap I could not look at Dope in the same way again. They actually made Gangsta Rap sound good. since they mixed it with Metal.
**kookai** Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 boy band called the East Boys and they would dance in sync and dress in white with punk hair
FJ Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 This makes no sense. Put down the crack pipe and get a job.

Mechanical Man Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Country. ew. lol. or hip hop, that'd be pretty sweet!
Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Riiight. Because I was being SO serious when I said 'gangsta rap'
XxGracespxX Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Gangsta rap. I can picture it now:B 2 da JMizzle DizzleThug CoolHaha
Sunshine2385 Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Perhaps hard rock or metal. That's wishful thinking.
Hitman Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I don't imagine they'll fray too far away from what they already are. It's all basically the same, in the end.
FilmAdaptation Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Stop Drop and Roll is being released in 2008, technically.
Sunshine2385 Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 They can do better this FHT in my opinion.
Agija Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Am I the only one who just doesn't get it? No, you're not.
randomness Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 he's just assuming there's gonna be another side project in a couple of years. and the question is what do you think it'll sound like. i have no idea. and i'm not interested in side projects (unless they sound really good obviously), i'm interested in Green Day.

Mauri Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I'd rather have Green Day albums sooner (4 years is too much for me) and no more of these side projects...
The One with the Yellowy Eyes Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 ^ i was just thinking that same exact thought last night.
Donna Saint Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Perhaps hard rock or metal. That's wishful thinking.Do you remember that Billie joe can play "every fucking metal song in this fucking world fuking shit planet fuck"?
