Beathe. Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Yup, my bestfriend lives in California and my boyfriend lives in London.
Rita Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Nah, but my closest friend had to move away from me about two years ago. I miss her..
Nicolle Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Yeah, and to begin with we wrote letters, then when she had a phone we'd text, then her phone got lost when she moved house again which meant I lost her address. She's on the otherside of the country and I often miss her but life goes on.Another friend of mine is very far away, only her spirit is on earth now. I miss her very much.Oh, and also, my best friend lives in another country so I don't see her at all. I love her and it's very difficult but you learn to appreciate them.
Trotsky Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Yeah, but it really doesn't suck that bad anymore. We have the miracle of the internet now.

Dai. Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 My dad moved out when I was 5 cause he and my mom divorced. He went to live to another city (which was not so far from me) so I could still see him on weekends. When I was 7 he forced me to go live with him, so then I only saw mom on weekends. When I was 8 I came back with mom (and again, could only see my dad (and younger brother) on weekends. When I was 12 I went to live with him again, but my mom moved to other city, so I could see her only twice during that year. When I was 13 I moved back with my mom to this city, and I only get to see my dad, grandma, and 3 siblings twice a year.Of course during the process I've been far away from many friends, too.
Dankerella Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Yeah. I had a boyfriend who was going to go to Grad school in California, and I still had a year of college left. We ended up breaking up, and I hoped that in a few years we could get back together again and get married, and live happily ever after, etc. But when we broke up, it was sad for the first couple of days/weeks, but then I totally loved being single. I didn't have to answer to anyone, I could do what I wanted. I wanted to be single for a while and date around, but my next and current boyfriend just happened to land in my life a few months after that.
GD Addicts Anonymous Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I haven't ever moved, but my best friend moved away from me a couple years ago. It was really sad.
chickin'pickin' Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Story of my life.however, life does go on.And because you can't see the person in question, does not mean contact is impossible.
Dai. Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Ah, and when I was 14 one of my friends went to live to Spain. She came for a lilttle vacation last April and so we saw her again. She was very changed, and also pregnant :/.I missed at first, but then we kinda drifted apart.

dreamy22 Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 as a teenager, my friends were always moving away and it made me feel lonely, I was always thinking that God was punishing me for something I did, but in the end, I have some really good friends who may not live near by but am still in contact with and its great, because catching up is always fun

Nova-Caine Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Well i'm moving in January, moving over 200 miles from my family, starting a new life down south of England, can't wait, really excited, watch out world Of course i will miss my family, esp my 4 nephews and 1 new born neice, but they ain't mine and i want my own life, i deserve my own life, i can't keep living for my family. Moving isn't hard, you get over the homesickness/missing people after a while and you settle into your new life, i've done it several times in my life, i love my family but i want to live in the south of England, all my friends are there. So i can't wait....The world is my Lobster
