The latest Green Day item you bought

I think we were all very worried, I don’t remember much judgement.  I personally worried it was the end of the band and am very glad it wasn’t.

As for the meltdown, I certainly wouldn’t have judged him. But I have an inclination to worry too much about a lot of things. And I know I would have worried so much for his well being and been afraid of the band not making it. Not getting new music any more, or silly interviews or whatever…. It was worrying at first but he went right to rehab and the band and their families kept us updated via social media quite a lot and everything was very positive all the way along. It was clear right away that he was getting help and everyone was rooting for him. And just a few months later he was back with GD playing shows doing much better. 

I also don't remember anyone judging him, he's always been open about his struggles with alcohol etc so it would be pretty silly to. Everyone was supportive

That sounds good. Still... a stressful time. But good to know so many people care about him and helped him.❤️

 

And now back to the topic of this thread: it's not exactly a GD item I bought. But I've finally found a black blouse I like to go with the red tie from the anniversary box last year! 😃 I just don't know if I dare to wear this for work...?

a bit ago i got my first green day cds: saviors, american idiot, 1039/sosh, nimrod, and dookie around june this year

i thought of listening to all of them in full for once! i know streaming exists, but i like to listen to new albums on physical if i can. maybe tease with a few on streaming of course, just not the full thing

since i have time, i'll finally be able to listen to them all  especially without extra distractions around me with all the probably 100 apps on my computer compared to just a booklet, cover art, and back cover. and that also means i'll finally be able to listen to welcome to paradise without my friend bugging me all the time.

unfortunately saviors will have to wait  i only have so much time and stamina to just stare at billie's handwriting...
