IWantYourBabies Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 It doesn't say anything about comeback, does it?I wouldn't call Warning a comeback...I'm not sure how they calculated this cuz it doesn't follow much of a pattern...
Sanah Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 What. The. Hell. :verymad: Warning is one of my favorite albums!Bastards.I'm just really frustrated right now.But none of us should care.We should all know that Warning was good, and that's all that really matters. And yes, I realize I am overreacting to a stupid magazine.
billie7joe Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 well who cares what a stupid magazine says? I actually like Warning. Green Day are everywhere now so they're an easy target, someone is always bound to criticize them. I say fuck 'em!
cellophaneice Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 For every bad review there is usually 10 good ones. It's not a big deal.
Fuzz Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 It's not calling it a bad comeback, just a chart flop. Which in all honesty, it was. The album is great, it was the album that got me into Green Day - but it didn't do so good in the mainstream.I think it didn't so well because they had two kinds of fans looking for their new stuff. 1) The old Dookie fans who were expecting the punk rock style 2) The Time of Your Life fans who were expecting some powerful emotional songs (or something like Time of your life). What they put out was something totally different and unexpected, and I don't think either side was happy with it. However, better for the rest of us who actually appreciated the album.
Anko Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I don't care :bored: it's a stupid mag any way :bored:I like it and that's all that matters
chickin'pickin' Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I wouldnt agree with that. Now if the album in question was american idiot...
klytaemnestra Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I wouldnt agree with that. Now if the album in question was american idiot...I'm still not on your awesome list... :whistling: [/offtopic]Who gives a shit? Ffs, it's some stupid magazine.
Guillaume Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 It's just a web site! all I know is that I don't care if they don't sell many CDs in the world. all I think is that I love their music!
idontknowdoyou Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 funny because there's another list where they made the best comeback album
wellingtonsarecool Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 It is the first bad press green day have had and it wont be the last, i dont think you should worry what other people think.
rootbeersoup Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 It doesn't say worst comeback, it says biggest flop
saurus Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 so what? its no big deal.i like the album, considering its the whole reason I got into Green Day. x
Johnny Park Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 most people thought green day was gonna have another rock/punk album...so they were confused and a bit disappointed that Warning had a more nature type sound to itnot that I don't think it still kicks assfunny because there's another list where they made the best comeback albumthat was american idiot
