I love the fact that he seems to be saying that honesty and provocativeness is the preserve of the young (Green Day?!) - kind of lets him off the hook!

There's political parts in most of the songs on the album - not always the whole song just certain lines. Besides, it's not just about the songs it's their general attitude about free speech and stuff :)
