ShutTheFuckUp! Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 As I said, I'm sorry if this has been done. I searched for like 5 or 6 keywords, and found nothing. What have you done to see Green Day?Have you traveled to another country just to see them?I'll probably go to England in about 2 years [if Green Day will go on tour then] to see them.
Bachacek Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 i wanted to fly to australia, but my mum didnt let me....however, i saw them in czech once:)
ShutTheFuckUp! celeryeater Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I killed my parents and fed their bones to next doors dog.It was worth it.
Nicolle Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 i got grounded for 2 weeks for drumming american idiot at 1am. My mom wasn't pleased. Made a point though Oh and i also sat on a bus for 3 hours to get there, boring.
Guest Phoebe. Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I havent ever seen Green Day live, but I wouldn't go to unreasonable trouble to see them. Just getting on a train and getting off a train and paying money is about as far as I'd go, really. No international GD-ways for me, I guess. My friend Imogen however would kill for a chance to see them, I have the feeling she'll be a good motive to go and see them sometime. She said she'd rather see Green Day than the whole 3 days of Download put together, I guess she means business. :/
ImnotaDrIjustPlayOneOnTV Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 just used a couple of days vacation time from work for a road trip to Denver w/girlfriends to visit another girlfriend and see Green Day on 09/19/05 @ the Pepsi Center. It was worth the vacation days obviously but also got to shop, go to the Broncos game, shop, drink, shop. The other 2x I saw them the concerts actually were only about 3 hours away in Kansas City so no hardship. Just had gas money, food and alcohol expenses.
GreenDay-Idiot Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I haven't done anything to go watch them since I don't have enough money to travel to Mexico...that's the closest place they've been to me
Peter. Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I went to England to see them in the beginning of 2005 and then later the same year i went to Gothenburg about 5 hours by train to see them..
nancy Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I killed my parents and fed their bones to next doors dog.It was worth it.Are you related to Laurie L? I have never seen them live but when they come to Europe, I'll be there.
suicidexmakeover Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 i haven't really done anything to anamzing but the time i went ot see them at milton keynes i had no one to go with and i was deseprate to go so i went on my own. that was pretty scary.
walkingalone_x3 Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I've never seen them. My friends went though a couple months ago and they got me a shirt.
Sham Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I've never actually seen Green Day live. Which is especially pathetic considering they came to my city last September. But since it was the night before the first day of school, my mom wouldn't let me go. I ended up buying tickets anyway and trying to sneak out of the house, but the living room is right below my room, so my mom saw my legs dangling from the window.
whatsmyname_jimmy Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I killed my parents and fed their bones to next doors dog.It was worth it.i have a friend in prison called laurie , you would get along splendid with her anyway, i sat in a car for 8 hours to go and see them at milton keynes, but it was worth it!
freak Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 in first time i've sold my guitar (it was favorit thing ever), but it worth this.
Sherri Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I haven't gotten to see them live yet, but I will definitely go any chance I get next time they tour.
Shoot That Fucker Down Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I was the DJ of a morning radio show at my college, and my show was giving away Green Day tickets. A co-host of the show also happened to be going to the same show, so I rigged the contest so that a buddy of mine won and the 3 of us went and saw the show.
shortie_8806 Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 i conned my uncle into driving us three hours to the concert arena. muahahhai had to wake up early to make sure i was for sure gonna get tickets...they went on sale at like 10, and i secured my order at 10:03
Coffee In My 409 Maker Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 I flew to Melbourne. But not specially to see Green Day. I just happened to go there when they had a concert and I went so yeah, it was the greatest day of my life. And there have been times I skipped classes to watch them on TV, my Mum doesn't mind.
meeeeee Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 i drove 17 miles, because my mom is too cheap to fly :/
Jamie311 Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 I was having some pretty serious health issues when I went to see green day!I have talked about it here before, so I am not going to bother typing it all out again, and I do not feel like searching for it.But I was seconds away from passing out from pain and heavy menstral bleeding. My mom tried to talk me out of going but NOTHING was going to stop me from going.I waited 11 years to see them, and it was worth evey excruciating moment.i drove 17 miles, because my mom is too cheap to fly :/17 miles??I hope you mean more...I drove just about 300 miles...not that it is any sor of contest...but 17 miles is what I drive to work every day!
