Just Kate Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 i heard (censored version) American Idiot when working in the CD factory couple years ago. i remember i was standing between tons of Mozart CDs looking for the right one when i heard Am Idiot... epic lol Quote
Juliette Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 They played Minority in a club I was in last night... Idk they usually play AI and Holiday though I still find it really strange but I've never heard anything from before AI in there. Quote
Radithor Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 One time, someone had Viva La Gloria [little girl] as their ringtone... I heard it while I was using my laptop on a toilet last year. Just... don't ask. Quote
drumstick Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 21 Guns, musical version on the ferry few weeks ago. I was shocked haha Quote

Samma.Wamma Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 My dad was watching a football game and an instrumental version of East Jesus Nowhere was on... You know.. the part that goes like "DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO-mute, mute, mute, mute, mute, mute-DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO" etc etc... My guitar impressions don't translate well over the internet. Quote
cartoonjunkie Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I heard Blvd. of Broken Dreams being played in the background of a Gay Porno... XD Quote
minorty13 Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I was standing in line for a ride in Utah a few weeks ago and this kid next to me starts humming American Idiot and then just BURSTS into intense dance and air guitar all the while screaming the chorus  It made me so happy! I started to sing and dance along Quote
Silverlight Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I know I've already posted on here, but I've got another one, one time when I was at the orthodontist getting my braces tightened and Know your Enemy came on. I wanted to start singing but I really couldn't 'cause I had a hand in my mouth. And another time I heard Last of the American Girls on there... Quote
Minority_GD Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 When I was in London for the Green Day concert this year, I went to camden market with Nele and Tanja. We were walking around when I suddenly screamed 'I hear LOTAG!!!' we tried to find out where it comes from and ended up in front ot the Criminal Damage shop. They played the whole album, so after lotag, they played Murder City. It was so funny how we all started singing at 'we're so pathetic'. Quote
St. Banana Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 This really doesnt count cause it was in my dreams, but it was really strange I thought. A song from 1039/SOSH played jingle style in an add ...and... !viva la gloria! played in some sad movie. now just pretend those actually happened Quote
VivaLaRosalee Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 east jesus nowhere in gym class at school. my school never plays music, so to hear east jesus nowhere while play volleyball, was just great Quote
FannyDefoe Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 well.. I noticed that on german TV on RTL they use green day songs as background music for their crappy shows, kind of wife swap or those shitty programms... Quote
Pupulainen Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 I was lying on a bed with my feet in the air and Red Cross nurses checking that I was all right. The TV was on and Last of the American Girls was playing in the background of an advertisemet for Finland's next top model or something like that. (I tried to donate blood yesterday, but my hemoglobin was too low and then I started to feel dizzy after they took the blood sample, so I had to go and lie down.) Quote
fadi_7 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 good riddance in swimming pool so i started singing with it and 50 people started looking at me Quote

Rock'n'RollGirlfriend Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 In 4th grade they played Good Riddance as we were playing musical chairs. xD Hahaha. Oh, and I don't remember which song, but they played GD on a hip hop/pop station on the radio. O_o Quote
Total~Nimrod Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 21 Guns at a snack bar by the beach. Naturally, I sang so loudly the employee stared. xD Quote
