Watoosh Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 They want to look trendy...Because, unfortunately, punk now is just a trend.a lot of people who follow trends dont follow trends to be trendy, they end up following them because it's all around them and they happen to like something they see/hear. like this local pop-punk band i used to see, just another joke. they recently changed their name to farwell and their music went emo. did they do it because everyone else likes emo and they wanted to be like everyone else? no, probably not. just them listening to that music a lot influenced the music they write/play.and since band members wearing eyeliner a "punk" thing? guys in makeup is more of a hair metal thing, if you ask me...
