GreenDayOnMyMind Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 i dunno if i'm weird or whatnot, but i really miss the old green day! i mean, of course it's not like they completely changed they just matured, as well as their voices. it's just i miss how they were at that "20ish year olds" age when they were "bratty" and how they sounded back then! i downloaded clips of vh1 behind the music awhile back and when they showed old pics of the band and played songs from 1039 Smooth.....playing in the background, i just really miss it! it's just that whols vibe, ya know? who knows what i'm talking about?????

punk.TAKA Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Old Green Day? I think they're pretty much the same. It's not like Green Day suddenly became "Purple Day" or something. It's still the same band members (with the exception of Tre'), just a bit older. I realize that in their youth they were a bit different, but they're still the same ol' Green Day. ^-^
GreenDayOnMyMind Posted January 12, 2006 Author Posted January 12, 2006 i just like causing riots for all u kids....ahh haha ha why do i feel the need to hide

Guest Holden Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Why do you guys post in here? the same thread happens twice a week, and you all post like its something new...
Lotus Eater Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Couldn't we call the current Green Day "Old Green Day" and 39/Smooth-era Green Day "New Green Day?" Like, when I was born, it would be acceptable to call me "New Diana." When I'm old, it would follow that I will be called "Old Diana." I think it should be a personal choice as to which eras "old" and "new" apply to, and we shouldn't tell each other what we mean. That way, when people make threads like this, no one will know whether or not to get mad, so the thread will naturally die away. And now you all know my name. With that being said...I MISS THE OLD GREEN DAY. WAAAAAAH.
jesus the rage guy Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 i like old green day and new green day equally haha agree again
