Tickets are still on sale as of now. Only $33. I would go, but live a few hours away and probably wouldn't make it in time

If anyone has an extra ticket, I’d totally buy it off you!

Can't wait to hopefully see something from the show. If only teleportation was a thing 😭

YES I would love to be able to teleport. Technology advances faster and faster, so I am sure we could do it one day

Saw East Bay Ray of the Dead Kennedys post about attending the concert and hanging out with Billie. Two bands I would have never associated with each other, but it felt wholesome to see them sharing stories. Wouldn't mind seeing him pick up the guitar for a few songs.

Another awesome looking Coverups show! Billie is cute in the bandana

One time Jello Biafra interviewed Billie for a magazine. I have it somewhere, I think in a big folder of all my old photobucket images not in order lol so I'll have to look for it

That sounds like a gem. I got the notion that he was supportive of the new generation of punk bands he helped blaze the way for. I mean, here he is with the Offspring right after they made the jump from Epitaph to Columbia.

All the Young Dudes

Dude. This is one of my favorite songs.

Funny story: this is actually the second of two songs the Coverups played that was written by David Bowie for Mott the Hoople. Bowie had written "Suffragette City" for them. They didn't like it, so they politely refused and said not to send anything else because the band was splitting up. Bowie went to the hotel they were staying in and played "All the Young Dudes" for them, they loved it, and the band stuck together for another 5 years after it became a hit.

If you can make it through this and "All the Way from Memphis" without becoming a Mott the Hoople fan, there's no hope for you and true, classic '70s glam rock.
