I was under the impression that any physical versions of the single simply used the album version. I don't think I have any copies of the single, but I have the Rock Block Sampler for radio stations. It only mentions the album version of the song.

That promo came out around Warning era. Around that time and ISH era there were several promos with GD Hits. I remember Rock Block Sampler and the one to promote Pop Disaster tour. Also, there was a promo sampler for International Super Hits.

Talking about When I come around singles, there were some versions. The most known version is the one which includes Coming Clean and She live from Aragon Ballroom (Chicago 1994). This is the same concert in which Billie starting She he said that "You worry?" speech. Sadly, this was cut in the single.

There is a promo which has a live version of When I Come Around from Woodstock 1994. I'm not sure if it is exactly the same version from Woodstock 94 Compilation (The official one, not the GD bootleg)

And finally, there is another version which has some live track from Jannus Landing (Tampa, Florida) 1994.
