Surprise Bowie cover dropping Friday?

According to reddit this is up already for people in certain time zones. Heroes by David Bowie covered by Billie Joe featuring his son Jakob. So I assume it’s dropping everywhere Friday?

Could be. There’s also a new Bowie doc that’s on Netflix and it inspired me to make a playlist. He could have seen that too. Bowie’s having a moment for sure

Absolutely incredible. The chemistry between Billie and Jakob is unreal... their voices blend so perfectly. This cover is such a beautiful gift and a truly extraordinary tribute to Bowie’s legacy... 🤍 Hope he's going to play it at next Coverups show.

I really like Billie’s vocal delivery in this. Very classy and tender. Would be interested in this with Saviors vocal production instead of this “he’s far away” sound.

I‘m absolutely in love with it. Both their voices are amazing and they go so well together!

Genuinely, this song is one of my favorite songs vocally Billie has done in a long time

What a great cover, so haunting, love it.  I see where @Liam is coming from, Billie does a great switch from chest voice to head voice.
