What was YOUR personal highlight?

Mine was hearing Suzie Chapstick live, but the bits of Stay the Night and Redundant acoustic that we got in Vienna were close seconds.

I had two highlights: seeing my beloved band from the front row in Vienna (and hearing Forever Now at that occasion) and spending hours with @Cris. at a beautifully situated cafe in Luxembourg, talking about Green Day and the world…

Seeing the live definitely, it was so surreal seeing so many people shouting out the lyrics and just as crazy as me all in one place, and not to mention the performance was so awesome

Seeing them live at Download festival during the Summer. Such an amazing atmosphere and the crazy timing of the rain starting on cue during WMUWSE.

My personal highlights were the nights when I stayed up to watch live-streamed shows with everyone, like the Fire Aid show. Those days were fun . Wow, two days until 2026......

For me, it was definitely seeing them at Riot Fest.  I camped out at the stage since 11:15 am, but the barrier was already claimed by Green Day fans (The festival opened at 11)!  I became super dehydrated to the point of my cheeks sinking into my face.  I moshed until I felt like I had to puke.  It was the most glorious time I’ve ever had at a Green Day show.  It was also great to be there on my own and not have to worry about anyone and if they were having a good time.  100% would do it again.  I’d do it tomorrow.

seeing the band live on my birthday, 3rd of March in Sydney! Amazing show!!

its not a lot, but the day i finally got into green day was this year, 8th of march. actually, maybe that is a lot. im a newbie, and i missed the one time they came to australia this decade.

i actually got into them through my best friend and some other people. his favourite band has been green day for a long time, so i asked a few friends online for some suggestions. the first three green day songs i ever listened to were dilemma, east jesus nowhere, and longview.

I like how the first 3 songs you listened to were all released 15 years apart from the last, covering a good chunk of their discography.  Welcome to the fandom!

01 Watching Green Day in Santiago, Chile (+ Haushinka live and the ending with Time of your life, it was so emotional)

02 Warning 25th release (I know it's not perfect, but I love this record since it was released in 2000, and it was the first one for me as a fan. When I got my Warning 25 CD copy, it came so many memories from 2000's)

03 Saviors tour anouncement for Southamerica (I was in my B-day day, not a good day at all to be honest, until I watched that tweet with the OEB walking with Southamerican flags at the back... I cried in Chilean Spanish "POR FIN CONCHETUMAREEEE!! which means "Finally, motherf*ckers!!")

Definitely all the live shows I went to were a highlight. Getting 86, Waiting, Forever Now, I Was There. The anti-ICE chant during Holiday in Amsterdam was also a highlight, so cathartic. And meeting / seeing again so many great people I have met through this band.

Definitely a highlight for me too 😁 It was a really well spent afternoon with great company.

The concerts in Vienna. I mean we got 2 (two!!) solo Green Day shows. Doesn't happen that often that international bands play some extra shows here..
