Anarchist2112 Posted yesterday at 12:24 PM Posted yesterday at 12:24 PM With the Saviors Tour almost at an end, what songs from it do you think will stay in the setlist/appear on future tours? These are the songs that I think that they'll play past this tour: American Dream Is Killing Me Bobby Sox One Eyed Bastard Dilemma Coma City Strange Days Are Here To Stay Suzie Chapstick Saviors Quote
Cris. Posted yesterday at 04:45 PM Posted yesterday at 04:45 PM My hope is that Fancy Sauce becomes the equivalent of Letterbomb for this album: regrettably ignored during its album tour, but a fairly frequent appearance in concerts a couple of albums/tours later. 3 Quote
Saviour Posted yesterday at 04:51 PM Posted yesterday at 04:51 PM All of them or some of them sporadically? Absolutely no way all of the suggested are regularly featured... As a setlist mainstay, maybe one of the singles. TADIKM or Dilemma would be my guess but even then they'll be swapped in and out like Know Your Enemy or something. The rest? Maybe a surprise deep cut occasionally. Their "main" setlist has long been established, only tweaked with album cycles. That won't change IMO. Quote

And as for setlist mainstay, my guess would Bobby Sox and/or Dilemma. TADKIM didn't even make it to the second part of the Saviors tour 😅 Quote

TADKIM didn't even make it to the second part of the Saviors tour 😅 Yeah, Bobby Sox is a good shout. For like the last like five albums they've pretty much abandoned playing any of the songs live once the tour was over. Even 21CB struggles to get a look in TBF. Sadly I think Saviors will be consigned to this list also barring the occasional track here and there. People want to hear the big, legacy hits. 1 Quote
Montclare Posted yesterday at 05:29 PM Posted yesterday at 05:29 PM TADIKM was taken off the setlist awhile back, so I doubt that. I'd say Dilemma, but they didn't play it at Riot Fest, so I wonder if it'll go the way of Still Breathing. I'd think Bobby Sox (unless they want to drop it to save Billie's voice) or OEB. I'd probably say OEB. It's kind of like KYE or Revolution Radio. Not the biggest hit from the album but something easy to play that will get fans hyped up. 1 Quote
Tre's Busted Drumkit Posted yesterday at 05:43 PM Posted yesterday at 05:43 PM Dilemma possibly, since Billie Joe put so much of himself into that song. Maybe Look Ma, No Brains because of how well-received it was and how it kind of fits anywhere. Beyond that, I think Saviors' destiny in live shows is to be a random song or two thrown in more often than not, but not setlist staples. 1 Quote
legendary Posted yesterday at 07:13 PM Posted yesterday at 07:13 PM One Eyed Bastard is the correct answer. Maybe Bobby Sox too. 1 Quote
Winter321 Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM My guess it Bobby Sox will stay, because it has such a good amount of interaction with the audience. Maybe the will also keep Dilemma OR One Eyed Bastard. But I don’t see more than 2 Saviors songs in future tours (sadly) 1 Quote
Rumpelstiltskin2000 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I'd say the two most likely are Dilemma and Bobby Sox Quote
greendepent Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I think OEB should stick. It is such a banger 1 Quote
BratReject23 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago OEB regularly. Bobby sox occasionally And look ma no brains/1981 rarely. As for the rest they will be missed for a long while. 2 Quote
That Dude Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I think they will keep playing Saviors songs. It looks like they've decided that 39 Smooth, Trilogy, Rev Rad and Father of All will never get played live and that gives them flexibility moving forward. Setlists are going to get more and more challenging as they keep putting on new stuff as well. 20 album? 30 albums? There's going to be fans of eras that better check setlist.fm before they go, lol. 100 albums. 4 billion albums? And only 2 hours. Whew. Also, Billie stirs. Quote
