nowshesgone Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago starting to wonder if maybe Warning, Hold On, Waiting and Minority's demos were closer to the final release, hense why they weren't in the box 1 Quote

They're probably selling it below their wholesale rate at a loss at this point, because Amazon is big enough to take the loss. They just want to make SOMETHING back. They do that if they're trying to offload inventory, so it tells me preorders (at least for the CDs) did not do very well. At least, that was the case when this sort of thing would happen at the label I worked for. This seems accurate. Walmart is also selling at the same price, which leads me to believe Warner is working with them to coordinate the price drops to pump sales (source: also worked at a label where this stuff happened). greendepent Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Another half cooked move by reprise. At least otis mixes are cool and different, even if Waiting has rerecorded guitars. Demos are ok, but nothing more revealing. Sad 1 Quote
Hermione Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago The front of the boxset box is what the cover of the album always should've been! Nice to see the warning man used properly 4 Quote
That Dude Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Finally we get some demos that don't sound like the completed songs - with Billie running through Misery and Jackass with seemingly no lyrics to speak of. Very interesting that Mike and Tre wrote lyrics for Misery - maybe they really loved the melody but Billie didn't any verse ideas. 1 Quote

The new website for Warning is coming. speaking of that new website, i just checked it out and god, the color scheme is just fucking with my eyes right now. i hate how the colors look together. neon green and hot pink... doesn't really go well together. i know redesigning and making websites in general is fairly hard, but i guess they could've at least put the effort to color it green or something... or just not put the warning cover behind the big pink letters? i dunno. i hate the way it clashes. That Dude Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I wasn't going to buy this.....but it's 17 bucks on amazon so I just bought it. 1 Quote

If I had pre-ordered from there I’d be pissed. Quote
That Dude Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I was looking at 2000's album release and WHOA. So many great albums that year, I can't even type them all (I tried). Pretty much every album that came out in 2000 was a banger. Is warning the best though? Yeah, I think so. I was 15 when warning came out. Nimrod had blown my mind and had me seeking out all kinds of new music - a very exciting period. They weren't my #1 favorite yet. That would come after warning - with the one-two punch of International Superhits and Shenanigans - and that INSANE build up to their much whispered about rock opera. 25 years. whoa. Quote
nowshesgone Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago https://www.instagram.com/p/DRCr-4-kbQe this may also explain why demos are missing (I.E: Warning, Waiting, Hold On and Minority) 1 1 Quote

The music scene in the early y2k are really something. Something in today's music scene won't capture it. The artwork colors looks more vibrant or something than digitally on your phone or monitor screen Quote

I was happy to pay full price but it seems odd that the Uk (and others?) are paying such a different price?! Quote
