I hope that’s the case bc I’d like to hear a bigger adjustment Maybe I need to listen more intently with actual headphones though! Or maybe someone can do a spectrogram or dynamic range comparison. I doubt that though. I've listened on Qobuz and it's two seperate releases, it would be really odd if the tracks called "25th Anniversary" would still be the original one. I think the difference is just very subtle Quote

That Dude Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Basket case is on so many releases. I understand it. It's Green Day's biggest song ever. But my goodness there are so many versions of it out. Quote

In the other side, no live versions of many others great songs played many times trough the years (razorbacks, 80, at the library, i was there, words i might have ate) Also F.O.D, Burnout, she, geek stink breath and when i come around (no need more than woodstock versión that is perfect) are too repetitive 1 Quote

Popular Post Saviour Posted 4 hours ago Popular Post Posted 4 hours ago Yeah, I just wish there was a bit more added value, y’know? Demos and alternative mixes are cool and pique curiosity, but are they really like “oh yeah, I’m gonna go and listen to that demo of Deadbeat Holiday again”. Not for me, because 95% of the time they’re not the superior version. (Rusty James, Baby Eyes and Missing You from Demolicious is the exception, obvs.) I wish they bundled songs that didn’t make the cut more. The Nimrod release nailed this. And also, $150 is, and always will be a fucking insane price point. 5 Quote
That Dude Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago In 2028, they should release a 25th Anniversary of Cigarettes and Valentines. Surprise box set! 1 1 1 Quote

fatherotti Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I mean fuck it. I'll take it. It's better than nothing. 🤷♂️ It's Warning demos. 😊 Plus the main album remastered. I'm curious to see just how much remastering was done. The original release had a ton of DRC applied to it. And OG release in 24 bit wasn't any better. Especially when compared to the not final promo CD which had not just less DRC but also the pre release master of Hold On; Which inexplicably doesn't seem to be included in this anniversary release... I am also of the firm belief that they're obviously holding onto the Ciggies tracks for another special release in the future. A ton of unreleased songs (that we know of including said title track) were left off of the AI 25th. And once again were cut from this release.... 🤔 3 Quote

lbw87 Posted 32 minutes ago Posted 32 minutes ago So is the only difference between the indie store vinyl and the standard color vinyl set -indie is numbered -indie comes with a warning construction sign am i missing something something else? Seems lackluster of an “exclusive” Quote
