billy1986 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I thought fashion victim and church on Sunday are not remastered. Will the remastered songs have any noticeable impact on the regular versions? Quote

Will the remastered songs have any noticeable impact on the regular versions? According to Amazon all album songs are remastered. Having downloaded 13 tracks released today, have played new and original songs through my speakers. I'm sorry I'm struggling to sense any difference. But that could be my hearing or speakers. Although when I play my original vinyl version it's well better, vinyl rules. Maybe when get vinyl box set will notice difference. As I said before, love Castaway demo, can't wait to hear other demos, not to mention live stuff. Previous posts have stated release date in January, but Amazon have stated November, hope they're right. 2 Quote

Christian's Inferno! Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I'm disappointed that we're not hearing any new/unheard demos from this one. Also the fact that there isn't any demo or new mix for Minority is mindboggling. That is the "big hit" from Warning so that's really strange. At least Don't Want To Know If You Are Lonely is gonna be available on streaming now. Idk if it's just me but I've not cared about the live tracks on any of these anniversary releases. I listen to them once and then ignore them entirely. I do quite like the Castaway demo. Quote

The live tracks are good, but to me the quality is so bad (low sounds and not clear enough) that I don't want to listen to them at all. Quite sad tbh, cause I love GDs live tracks.. Quote

It seems to be like weezer’s Blue 30 where the titles have been changed to include a remastered title, but the actual remastered audio doesn’t release until the full blx set. Because I can vouch that these are legit 100% the exact same audio files at the moment. @ThranaM ^^ 1 1 Quote

Only Amazon Music has two options, pre-order CD version and Pre-order MP3 version and partial download album and one demo now. Quote

Safe to say that they're back to awful marketing? 😅 Strange how they haven't done anything to promote this, other than an IG/Facebook story and a youtube video 1 1 Quote
alecandstuff Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Okay so I’m a stickler for audio usually, but is there truly no discernible difference between the originals and these ‘25 remasters? For the life of me I can’t hear much of a difference at all apart from the remixes seeming a bit more open-aired? Though I’m lost on if that’s my ear fatigue listening to the same clips of songs for comparison sake or if I’m truly not hearing what’s there As usual I’m excited to hear the demos, and especially the Otis mixes but apart from that this seems lackluster compared to previous anniversary releases? Feels like there could’ve been more here 2 1 Quote

Feels like there could’ve been more here It's a remaster, not a "remix". There's only so much you can do with a remaster. There's a slight audible difference judging from a very quick sample, in the frequencies and perhaps stereo image but I gonna listen to it properly at higher volumes later. 1 Quote

You’re right, there is a difference and I misspoke, though my sentiment remains. I’d be curious to hear what you find! Being that they are remasters I can see the differences being pretty minimal, though that also makes me question if the difference is only so slight, why NOT make a full on remix at that point? 🤔 Quote
The Grohl Posted 52 minutes ago Posted 52 minutes ago Okay green Day that's fine. Please take more of my money. I haven't even had my coffee yet and your hand is already in my pocket 😆 definitely getting the CD box set - looks cool! It comes out in November which is when I usually stop buying things for myself so my family have options for gifts.....I maaay have to break that rule for this lol 1 Quote
Gwen Stacy Posted 4 minutes ago Posted 4 minutes ago I tried to do an A/B test of the regular version and the remaster and I couldn’t tell a difference. Granted I wasn’t using my best headphones but normally I could tell some kind of difference. Supporting my theory that Warning needs neither a remix nor a remaster. Quote
