The end of September timing is perfect for marketing this one. I imagine the post will start with “Wake up!!! Better thank your lucky stars! Warning is 25!!”

Yes, it's basically confirmed at this point. The band haven't said anything yet but it's looking like it's definitely true and will be announced on October 3rd. The actual anniversary album won't be released until later but we should get the first "single" release on October 3rd which will probably consist of a demo, bonus track and/or a live track

Only thing about this that i doubt is the January 23rd release date, I think it'll release earlier in the month or sometime in December

Is it weird that out of all of them I’m most excited about this one so far? I’m pretty deep into this and I didn’t even know there were Warning demos. 5 years ago I thought we’d get Dookie and AI boxes eventually, maybe Nimrod if I got my hopes up. But never Warning. 
 

I just listened to it again last night because of all the hullabaloo and holy shit is it a solid album. I’d do horrible, unforgivable things to hear Castaway live or even Waiting. I have been warned.

WARNING 25 sounds neat! I didn't expect us to get a box like this, but it's certainly welcome.

Rumor is remastered album (does it really need a remaster? I think it sounds fine as is), demos, and this show getting a full release. 
 

If it is Makuhari for the live tracks I’m so-so on that. It’s a good setlist but the existence of Tune In, Tokyo makes it feel a bit redundant. I’d have preferred an official release of Bridge School Benefit (bet the rights to that are complicated) or Goat Island, but whatevs. I’m just happy we’re getting this.

Warning was played at bridge school as the first new song heard. Nothing from warning was played at bottom ofthr hill in 1999 has ever been said to have been played then or anywhere else. and im sure I was very active on forums and  green day sites and in the tape trade circles at that time.
