Not gonna be surprised if it's coming after their last show tomorrow. Yeah, I saw the 404 in your coffeemaker message briefly - gave me flashbacks. Quote

Nikto66 Posted yesterday at 12:38 AM Posted yesterday at 12:38 AM Very excited for this, I still enjoy this album a lot. I will always believe the whole napster early leak impacted sales Quote

Lots of good Warning era shows to choose from i was probably optimistic with this. outside of the dookie boxset and 4 vh1 storytellers tracks, they've been using concerts gd/warner recorded themselves. licensing audio/footage from HBO or whoever is an extra cost and hassle when they have other shows available Quote

Reverend Strychnine Twitch Posted yesterday at 07:20 AM Posted yesterday at 07:20 AM A Warning 25th Anniversary album without Sleepyhead and Wasteaway would be incomplete 1 Quote

I still because it contains the only known performance of No One Knows? They are seemingly releasing the entirety of the Makuhari Masse 2001 show Quote
greendepent Posted yesterday at 10:03 AM Posted yesterday at 10:03 AM Following the trail of the recent boxsets they will release something they had partially released in the past, no video show and cut any cover they didn't have licensed at the moment. So I wouldn't expect any video even if this era is one that have the most footage seen. I hope that I'm wrong though 1 1 Quote
nopride84 Posted yesterday at 11:40 AM Posted yesterday at 11:40 AM Bottom of the hill hadno warming songs bridge school was the only show to have a warning song before sept 2000. Quote

Finally we would know if there might be any connections between songs such as Sleepyhead and Lazy Bones/Novacaine or Wasteaway and Oh Love. A "remaster" of the album, audio-wise, wouldn't be of any good though unless they make it more dynamic or less hot. It sounds exactly like it should sound as is, IMO. I've rarely, if ever, heard a remaster that sounds better then a original. Only when the purpose has been to increase dynamics and leave the rest untouched. Hopefully we'll know what they have in store shortly... Edited yesterday at 12:44 PM by Dysfunco 2 Quote

Mato Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Castaway demo weirdly sounds like it was pitched up half a step in post. It doesn't sound like it was recorded in C. You can tell by his voice sounding all squeaky. Not sure if that was done by leaker so they would avoid legal issues or what. I don't see why would the band do it on purpose. Or maybe I'm just delusional. They obviously had the whole song already worked out by the time this demo was recorded. It's pretty much the same as on the album. Still sounds cool. After all of the anniversaries and box sets in the last couple of years, I honestly doubted that Warning's anniversary would be acknowledged. I love it and I'm beyond excited! btw. if this is the real cover, I'm not a fan of fluorescent green. It all kind of looks like it was made in Paint. It's too bad since Warning era in general had awesome artwork, fonts and colors. 3 Quote
moiz Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I believe the demo is real, while it seems to be in a higher key (or just pitched up), he pronounces it "I'm, leaving, in, the, lurch" kind of instead of "I'm leaving in the lurch". So I personally believe it to be real, but it could also be just quite well faked. Quote
Christian's Inferno! Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Idk why they would go for that green. Just make the anniversary album the normal version of that pic that the original album should've been. I'm hoping that's just being used for the single and not the actual album but I doubt it. Quote
Little Boy Named Booze Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago For me it's exactly the same song. Boring cover. Quote
nowshesgone Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago This...makes sense as the first ""single""" They have Aces for sure in the can that won't get released until later I bet it'll also follow the same format as the singles from AI20 sooo maybe this'll be the single? Castaway (Demo) Dont Want To Know If You Are Lonely (Husker Du cover) Live track (most likely F.O.D or Nice Guys) from Makuhari Quote

Also yeah my first thought upon seeing that artwork was like "that does not seem like something green day would make" but I hope to be proven wrong Quote

Nikto66 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago They released a repress of Warning last year on fluorescent green vinyl. Maybe the band links fluorescent green with the Warning album. Quote
billy1986 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I hope to hear a church on Sunday live cut and maybe a demo to see how it morphed from blackeyliner…killer song…into Church on Sunday. Hope we get some warning live tracks and other tracks live aside from the same 10-13 songs that seem to be on every release Quote
