UGH THAT ONE SUCKED!!! I knew all the songs right away. I dialed. It rang. And rang. and rang. and rang. NO ONE PICKED UP.

I got through to the station, guessed Walking Contradiction, Nice Guy Finish Last, and Boulevard of Broken Dreams, but the first guesser on the station was correct.  The first song was Longview, not Walking Contradiction.  This was fun!

Oh my god...we'd be UNSTOPPABLE!!! 

While I am bummed and a little pissed off that I got through today, but no one picked up, it was fun sharing our guesses and commiserating on GDC. This is a personal win for me as I typically don't bother with radio contests, so I'm giving myself a lil pat on the back for giving it a shot every day. At least I tried.

But if they were only giving 1 ticket per day, surely more tickets will be handed out somehow? Maybe some give away organized by the band's team or on a first-come first-served basis? Or they are really only playing for 5 people like in the radio studio or something?

It's a small space so I think it's only for like 5 people. I was hoping they'd do another giveaway or do the classic oh we found more tickets bit. Doesn't seem like it.

The rest are probably radio staff and VIP guests

I also saw a comment from the station that the people who were originally had tickets  last year were asked back for this

That would be good!  It must’ve sucked so much to win tickets to a rare event like this just to have it be cancelled.  Anyway, I will still be staying at the stage at riot fest all day and will try to play guitar on stage and convince them that they need a fourth live guitarist.  If I succeed, I’ll be in the Q101 lounge either way 😎

Q101's website has video of past lounge performances on there so there's a good chance it'll be recorded and posted 🤞🏽
