The pre-orders are sold out already. Crazy I thought it was ridiculous at $79 ($100+ with tax and shipping)

I knew I could never get it in time lol. Damn that's expensive.

I'm sure it'll be on ebay sooner or later :) (probably for double the price lol)

I wish I were safe from the temptation. We Americans love our trading cards for some reason

Well, other addictions here. I ordered that damned coffee in spite of horrendous shipping costs…😆

Same! Ugly and expensive with no idea what it’s about. Can’t believe they sold out already.

I hate garbage pail kids and they're ugly lol but this is pretty funny and probably cool for people who grew up with the orginal cards. I would never buy them but hope I can see the rest of the designs. The Letterman one is amusing

I think they're kinda cute lol

The characters on the cards always look squishy to me hehe, even if there are worms coming out of Billie's head

also the title of this thread needs to be spelled Pail, not Pale. It's bothering me lol

My girlfriend pointed out that Billie looks like Kim Jong-un on these things and I can't unsee it now.

The Letterman one is funny and I'm impressed that whoever designed it knows the lore, but still, my money is VERY safe

So I bought 2 by mistake…have no idea what these are?? Should i open them when I get them to see if I get anything signed or rare? Or is it better to keep them unopened in case they have high value one day?

This is a cool idea, but even the hardcore collector in my couldn't justify $80 for these.

You can open it and sell the one you like the least on eBay. I'll purchase it ;)

Yes the cards are wayyyy overpriced. I'm a pretty big green day collecter myself, prob not the biggest tho :)

Since these are packaged at random it would be wise to open all packs. They say there might be some rare items in there, so you'll never know otherwise.

And yeah, I'm passing on this project too. They started letting me down with the De-Mastered Dookie thing, then I skipped the expensive super duper mega hi-fidelity or whatever vinyl (I get it, but it's not for me and my wallet) and now this. Thanks, but no.

I’ve held off on buying a lot of Green Day merchandise, but something about this pulled me in.  Just the fact that each box is unique and every card is weird… Such a cool piece of Green Day’s history to own.
