Gonzalo17 Posted yesterday at 08:15 AM Posted yesterday at 08:15 AM I think, after this gigant world tour, the band Will release a live album. Hope It will have many Deep cuts as I was there, scattered or 80 on It. 3 Quote
Mollyluna Posted yesterday at 09:20 AM Posted yesterday at 09:20 AM Yeees! We are so ready for that live album!!!!!!🤩 1 3 Quote
Saviour Posted yesterday at 09:44 AM Posted yesterday at 09:44 AM Honestly, I'd rather they didn't. With the amount of output over the last couple of years, we're in danger of getting into release spam territory. Maybe I'm just long in the tooth but I'm from the "keep fans wanting more" school of thought. A live album of the Saviors tour wouldn't be anything special IMO especially given its mainly Dookie and AI - from both of which we've had LOADS of live stuff over the years. I'd much rather the pro-shot stuff was used as part of a catch-all Saviours documentary or something. 2 Quote
Mollyluna Posted yesterday at 10:35 AM Posted yesterday at 10:35 AM I don’t care, I want that live album! AND a live video, just like Awesome as Fuck! A documentary would be nice but I don’t believe in it. They don’t seem to be into making documentaries. At least the one in the American Idiot anniversary box wasn’t really convincing… 2 Quote
GuitarPunk94 Posted yesterday at 11:54 AM Posted yesterday at 11:54 AM we didnt have a proper live lp since 2011 since 2011 we got 6 new albums so yes please, give us a new live lp :D 1 1 Quote
ThranaM Posted yesterday at 12:00 PM Posted yesterday at 12:00 PM The fact that we didn't get anything from the RevRad tour, which imo they peaked, will to this day boggle me. No festival shows either during that tour, which we have seen plenty us in the last few years. The rumors regarding the Wembley show last year, where they have the opportunity to give us Saviors songs, and all of AI and Dookie, is pretty exciting. That's a show that will go down as "legendary" in my books, both for us GD fans but also for many more rock fans, if they decide to release it. I'm also guessing a documentary ain't coming, just have a look at the AI20th "documentary" which was 80% from the original one, and 20% "interview" 20 years after. It doesn't seem like that's something they care too much about. Quote

greendepent Posted yesterday at 02:38 PM Posted yesterday at 02:38 PM If it sounds like the Bobby Sox live video, I don't wanna a single thing Quote
The Grohl Posted yesterday at 03:17 PM Posted yesterday at 03:17 PM It's been far too long since we got a proper live album. I would love a new live CD/FILM combo! 1 2 Quote
nowshesgone Posted yesterday at 03:24 PM Posted yesterday at 03:24 PM something else that i wanna point out as well is that most likely during the break we might get deluxe's as well as whatever Punk Bunny might do in the future i wouldn't be surprised though if the deluxe's/PBC exclusive vinyls are on the back burner though, considering how some of them might have to cheat a little bit in order to sell well Quote

Christie Road and Letterbomb from the AAF "deluxe" also sounded "robotic" as well Saviors live album should copy the BBC Sessions in terms of how the vocals sound Quote
GreenDayJunkie86 Posted yesterday at 05:04 PM Posted yesterday at 05:04 PM YES! i would love a live album. I agree that there has to be some deep cuts for me to actually listen to the whole thing hehe. 2 1 Quote
Popular Post Gonzalo17 Posted yesterday at 05:26 PM Author Popular Post Posted yesterday at 05:26 PM Live albums are for fans, and fans don't want other versión of american idiot, basket case, BOBD or know your enemy....we want rare played songs, old recycled songs. Hope GD think about us in their Next live album. 6 Quote

NGL i feel like with the dookie non singles that arent Burnout + Extraordinary Girl, we'll have a decent stack of deepcuts although, if 80, I Was There, Jaded, Look Ma, Murder City and Holden Caulfield also make the live album....that would sweeten the pot for me 2 1 Quote

We have lot live versions of "she", but any of "80" or "i was there". Holden caulfield IS on AAF, so I'm done with it. Quote

billy1986 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I’d prefer Saviors live in full as it was recorded every time they played it live especially the camera on Billie for Father to a Son. I’d say Saviors in full live then deep cuts they brought out like Youngblood, I was there, 80, Brat, and so on instead of AI and Dookie in full again 2 2 Quote
Cris. Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I am a fan and I do want / need a video release of the Dookie / AI epic shows of last year. In my fantasy this video is glued together from performances in different shows for each song, rather than a single show. But I'll take a single show too, I don't care. I feel like we got so spoiled with the tour last year that we lost sight of how special it is to get either of those albums (let alone both!) being played front to back in a single show for the masses - not just 1 or 2 small shows where only a few people can go. It was unthinkable before they announced it. And now I want a video of it to remember it forever. I'd also love Saviors in full live. 1 2 Quote
Gonzalo17 Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago I dream with live versions of sasafrás roots, having a blast, pulling teeth, enimus slipus, the end, 80, at the library, i was there, forever now... All songs played on this tour non beeing released live yet Quote
localinsomniac Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago It would be really fun if they did a double-live LP with AI, Dookie and some Saviors/deeper cuts. Milk that cash cow lol 2 1 Quote

I get this stuff is heavily edited and "fixed", but the little sake of authenticity that is left in the live recording of shows, I beg they treat thr vocals differently 1 Quote
