Does anyone have a source for this quote about Church on Sunday?

This is a long shot, but I'm currently in the process of writing a script for a video essay all about Warning. I found a supposed quote from Billie Joe Armstrong about the song Church on Sunday on multiple websites (Wikipedia, Green Day Wiki, and GeekStinkBreath. net), although I cannot find a direct source of this quote anywhere that is verifiable. I'll put the quote below, but I was curious if anyone had a direct source (interview, video) where BJA says this? Thanks!

"Church on Sunday deals with compromises in the relationship I have with my wife. You have to compromise in every relationship. If you want it to work out you've always got to look ahead, have a future in front of your eyes and work on your relationships, no matter if they're with your partner or with friends. According to songmeanings.com it is from a NY Rock interview from 2000, it does include a link to the interview but the website appears to no longer be active.

hahhah I like proof-reading, too. Probably not as much as you do lol. I am a journalist with an editor, so they do it for me.
