The organizer should be ashamed. Sorry for everyone who had tickets. 🩷

When I first read this new from one of the fan accounts on Instagram I literally thought they had just fallen for a rumor/fake news in really bad taste.

I cannot believe this had to be cancelled at this stage for a football game! Surely they are planned months in advance and if it had to be changed then it should not have been at the expense of a long planned concert which lots of people will have spent lots of money on.  Shame! I am so sorry for everyone who was going.

From the announcement it says that the draw to select the location for the football match was held last week. But still it makes zero sense to me that an event that has been planned for many months, for which thousands of tickets has already been sold, has to be cancelled because you did a last minute draw to decide the place of match for next month. For fuck's sake, move the date of your match by a couple of days, move the location, don't do a random draw where one of the options is a place that is already taken... I don't know, it feels like a problem that could have been at best avoided, and at worst at least solved.

I'm sorry for anyone who had tickets. I know I would be super pissed (I mean, I'm pissed anyhow 😅).

For what a know from a spanish promoter, no. According to him, the AC/DC's 2015 World Tour was planned to start in Madrid at the Vicente Calderón stadium, everything (the schedule of the whole tour) was planned, Angus Young even signed all the papers and he was happy to start the tour in Spain. Then a football cup was raffled and it was selected the Vicente Calderón to do the match. Looks like the promoter tried everything to change that, but looks like it was impossible and the schedule of the whole tour was changed. The football is king, so it didn't surprised me when the news of this show appeared.

I think the interview where the promoter said that is here but I'm not so sure.

They should do BOTH at the same time, haha.   Green performing while a game goes on around them.
