Liam Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Taken from the GoFundMe Quote Hello! My name is Kat and I have been the owner of Green Day’s first tour bus The Bookmobile. In April I also became the proud owner of the Broken Dreams car that was featured in their Holiday and Boulevard of Broken Dreams videos. I am finally asking anyone and everyone for help in supporting repairs for these historic vehicles. Since buying the Bookmobile I have liquidated my life’s savings to support getting it functional and back on the road for fans to see. This has included TWO brand new engines, all new tires, suspension, brakes, generator, drive shaft, radiator…. Let’s just say pretty much everything has been replaced! Last summer alone I spent over $48,000 to fix it. I discovered a couple weeks ago that the roof now needs repair. In 2018 I spent $10,000 for a new one so hopefully this repair won’t be so spendy! I just received the Broken Dreams car and 2 tires are going flat, it needs all new flushes and fluids, has a leak as well as the bus, but most importantly might need a new top that was shredded in transit after going to the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. I am going to submit a claim with the shipping company so we will see. It cost $2536 for round trip transportation to the ceremony which was delivered LATE and wasn’t there on time so costs are not cheap. i just can’t do it anymore without help. I hate asking for it but I have spent over $268,000 on these two vehicles to help preserve history their and show it to as many fans as possible. Simply put, I am broke. Your dollar will help with future repairs and the ability to tour it to showcase to fans. I am not affiliated with Green Day in any way so please do not assume they will fund the costs. This adventure was simply started by a fan FOR the fans and I will do the best I can to keep touring one or both. I thank you so much!! 3 Quote

Will I spend my life savings on 2 obscure Green Day artifacts? Nah fam. If I owned them and they were in shambles, you Green Day fans could drag your sorry asses over to my house where they would be stored…dead and inoperable lol. Quote
