And places the band talk about in their songs, Cristie Road for example. Yes!!! I’d love to see all those GD landmarks, too. But California is so far away. And I hate flying.😕 And the current US politics aren’t inviting either. But maybe sometimes in the future… 3 Quote
Popular Post solongfromthestars Posted Saturday at 04:12 PM Popular Post Posted Saturday at 04:12 PM I'd usually encourage any Green Day fan with the means to do the 'pilgrimage' to do it. It's an incredible experience. Of course I have an article for that, too https://atlasandacamera.com/2025/01/29/green-day-landmarks/ But yeah, but the vibes aren't amazing right now, even in California. It'll be a better experience when things change. 1 1 5 Quote

If we can't visit Green Day land in person just yet, what you have made and shared is the next best thing. I'm overwhelmed, sorry, I'm all emotional. I will read and study this article very carefully, you've made me so happy. 6 Quote

I do have loads of photos of the sunrise at Christie Road that I haven't posted yet though. There's also the Tre Edition of the landmarks tour which takes you up to Mendocino and I did that on my last trip. I'll write an article about it eventually! 11 hours ago, GuitarPunk94 said: this is absolutely incredible thank you so much! its so nice to see the actual places with all their "history" i want to visit the united states at some point in my life, but not now with the orange kid in the office You're very welcome! I have to say I was well impressed the way you took the phone off the hook. The action, the look, real punk attitude. lol. Billie Joe would be proud. 🤪 6 Quote
Dingle Posted Sunday at 02:11 PM Posted Sunday at 02:11 PM For those in UK or have access, there's a TV programme on Sky Arts at 2am Monday 22nd, that may be if interest, hopefully. "Live from Abbey Road studios, Season 1, episode 4, the very best of, with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day and Muse." It's 60 minutes long. Says it's new, but that could mean to this channel. I can't recall it, so even if it's old, hope its good. Freeview channel, 36; Sky 124/125; Virgin 123; Freesat 143. Additional series info states: "Top musicians record a session in a studio environment, interspersed with intimate interviews without an audience. Performances range from classic tracks to innovative covers." 3 Quote

Played AI, 21 Guns and Know Your Enemy, and included some band interviews. Were shown first, then Chillies, then Muse. Maybe attracted some new fans to our awesome band. Tend to forget what an amazing lead guitarist Jason White is. 45 minutes ago, GREEN DAY IS MY LIFEEE said: aww man im in the UK from tomorrow... so ill just miss it 😞 im irish but all my family live in the north and im goin up there for xmas Xb No worries, it's on UTube, see above. Popular Post That Dude Posted yesterday at 12:51 AM Author Popular Post Posted yesterday at 12:51 AM The Classic Rock Station in my town (Rock 101) has been changed to a Country station. The New Rock Station (93.3 the Planet) has said they will have a classic rock show from on Fridays, and will add more Classic Rock to the mix. Green Day is mentioned here: "We are told The Planet will include even more classic rock from iconic artists such as Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Queen and Tom Petty, mixed with active rock favorites including Metallica, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Green Day." I looked at 93.3's playlist, and was surprised Boulevard of Broken Dreams isn't in rotation that much anymore. They play Good Riddance, Basketcase, Idiot, September, When I Come Around, Welcome to Paradise, 21 Guns, Brainstew and Jaded. 5 Quote
