More proof LNOE should have been a single and needs to be a live staple

Green Day's infamous stolen record is the focus of Alan Cross' podcast this week:

There's nothing ground breaking. Just a fun recap of Cigarettes and Valentine's, though he I'm pretty sure he gets some things wrong like saying Sum 41 and Good Charlotte were on Pop Disaster (that's not true right?) and that Green Day is The Network. Can't believe he fell for that 🙄😏

my focus has shifted away from the network breaking into Studio 880 and stealing the album and more towards Blink breaking in and doing usual pre untitled blink activities to the masters

that or Reprise took it in exchange for GD being allowed to fund American Idiot

I can't believe we're still talking about this. The Network and Green Day HATE each other. And are CLEARLY distinct bands. Nothing alike. End of story.

Dude did his homework. That was a pretty comprehensive recap and a fair conclusion. I wonder if they’ll ever admit to the hoax beyond Mike’s smoking gun interview. And will we ever find out what the real tracklist was?

at this point i feel like the real tracklist is every song on that B-sides disk minus Favorite Son (confirmed due to AI20 Booklet), Govenator (confirmed due to everyones favorite concept, time) and 19th Nervous Breakdown

although End of the World could be an R.E.M cover and green day has never put a cover on the (main) tracklist of an album (not counting Slappy, Sweet Children, Shenanigans, nor variants of albums like Kerplunk or 21CB)

I went to see Jake Bugg (again) last night. 'Good Riddance' was played in his pre-stage mix of music. I nearly fell over though when they played the Foxboro Hot tubs 'Alligator' too! That really made me happy!🤣 I know he his a fan of GD, so it's nice that they got included!😁
