I'm so excited - I just took the plunge and bought a Sunday ticket for Riot Fest! Flights are now booked, so I'll be coming over from Ireland for this one

I was supposed to see GD in Vienna back in June, but I was unwell at the time so unfortunately had to cancel my trip so I'm delighted that I'm going to make up for it in Chicago (first time in the Windy City, and first time seeing GD in the USA).

If you want to meet up with someone I have a friend going who'd like to meet other fans. She's not on GDC but asked me to share her Instagram

As I’ve said in some other thread, I will be staying at the stage all day.  Screw alcohol and food.  I will be trying to be as close as possible.  And I shall convince Green Day that they need a 4th live guitarist thank you very much.

Minus the 4th guitarist thing, this is my plan. I’ll hang out with a friend Saturday and do Riot Fest-y things but Sunday I shall get as close to the stage as possible like I did with the Harley Davidson Fest. I love Chase Petra who is also playing Sunday but I plan to be at the Green Day stage lol. I’ve been way too spoiled with barrier at shows.

I was just informed that I can’t take Friday off so this Riot Fest is gonna be fueled by caffeine and my love for Green Day cause my Saturday flight is so early now.

So the boys are in town. For my Chicago folks, where do you think they're going for pizza? My bf guessed Peaquods, and I hope not 👎Green Day if you see this, go to Pat's Pizza. It's delicious!

Pequod’s is a good guess!  This reminds me of when they talked about deep dish at a Q101 interview back in 2017.  It’s at 6:30.  They gotta keep the sharting at bay.

Last time, the vegs of the group went to Kitchen 17, which, in my opinion, is meh.
