Mike Dirnt admitted, "I’ve always loved a good fiddle solo. I think it’s time for a little twang in our sound."

Tre Cool said, "The rhythm of the banjo is so much more laid-back than the drums. It’s like we’re finally slowing down and embracing a new side of life."

The band also teased their upcoming album. The first single, "Short Glance (No More Longview)," promises to be a blend of traditional country with no hints of their punk roots.
