They won’t announce anything until after TIFF. It’s possible they don’t know yet and deals still have to be made.

This is so cool! Souvenirs from the screening. They gave out demo tapes with two songs, Basket Case and what has to be a new song by Green Day for the movie band called “Bored”. Can’t wait for someone to upload it! 

Update: according to someone who attended the screening, the credits reveal that Jakob wrote “Bored”

Someone on Reddit claims to have seen it and says it's better than Ordinary World but still not a great movie. Probably one for the more die-hard fan than something that will appeal to a wider audience. So probably in line with expectations TBH.

When Tim Hanks purchased the rights to AI or whatever that should have been a movie. I’d love to know why that was scrapped? Instead we get this low budget movie that may not be good. Again a biopic even would be better.

So far most of the new songs written for the band Analog Dogs in the movie have been written by Jakob Armstrong. Billie said in the interview above that he collaborated with Jakob on one of them.

If this movie becomes like a legit hit imagine what that will add to their legacy. Maybe Billie will act agin. I still want a Green Day Biopic or a AI/21st Century Breakdown movie…if this does well maybe we will get an AI movie

I would love to finally see an AI movie. Even if Billie has aged out of the St. Jimmy role, they could find some way for the band to have cameo roles

would be interesting seeing how different the tracklists for Love Is For Losers and rev-rad would have been had Billie not been in the movie, especially Rev-Rad
