They won’t announce anything until after TIFF. It’s possible they don’t know yet and deals still have to be made.

This is so cool! Souvenirs from the screening. They gave out demo tapes with two songs, Basket Case and what has to be a new song by Green Day for the movie band called “Bored”. Can’t wait for someone to upload it! 

Update: according to someone who attended the screening, the credits reveal that Jakob wrote “Bored”

Someone on Reddit claims to have seen it and says it's better than Ordinary World but still not a great movie. Probably one for the more die-hard fan than something that will appeal to a wider audience. So probably in line with expectations TBH.

When Tim Hanks purchased the rights to AI or whatever that should have been a movie. I’d love to know why that was scrapped? Instead we get this low budget movie that may not be good. Again a biopic even would be better.

So far most of the new songs written for the band Analog Dogs in the movie have been written by Jakob Armstrong. Billie said in the interview above that he collaborated with Jakob on one of them.

Not particularly into this but I heard as well as the performance there a small amount of Billie acting in it. So I need to see that part at least

Haven't been keeping up with this so don't really know anything about it, but just found out Mckenna Grace is in it which is pretty cool since she's kind of a big deal now haha

Just seen a clip of some of the actors in the film posted by greendayitaly and one of them said WMUWSE was rehearsed that night at the Palladium.  I wonder why it wasn't posted on setlist.fm
