billy1986 Posted Wednesday at 04:40 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:40 AM So we think Green Day would re-record songs like at the library or one for the razorbacks? They could or 80 any really but part of me likes the raw sound of those records idk if they would. I kind of think the rawness of the production is a key selling point of those songs. It would be cool to have them updated but part of me wishes they don’t tinker with them. Quote
Luna Jinx Posted Wednesday at 01:55 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:55 PM Does anyone know anything about the September 7th screening in Toronto? Is it a real thing? Is anyone going? Quote
She-Loves-Him Posted Wednesday at 02:29 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:29 PM I thought about trying to get tickets for TIFF but I thought about it too long! Oh well. Quote

I LOVE having raw and polish record of welcome to paradise or Christie Road to choose... I think Green Day has exelent tracks from their first two albums that deserves a better sound version 1 Quote
Gwen Stacy Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Trailer is here! Looks better than I was anticipating. From the brief flashes we get it’s nice to see the boys looking properly cinematic. Part of my problem with Ordinary World is that it looked as indie low budget as it was. 2 Quote
pacejunkie punk Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago This looks really good and I like that it’s properly centered on Green Day as the central plot. They’re not downplaying their role at all and trying to just make a generic road trip film. I hope it draws a good sized audience it should do more than Ordinary World did which wasn’t a Green Day movie There’s gonna be so many fun easter eggs in this. The kid onstage with the dreadlocks really looked like 1993 Billie for a second. I do have one complaint though — that Bunny is too clean! 3 Quote
DookieLukie Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Didn’t they write some new songs for this allegedly? Hopefully those come out soon, or at least a single. 2 Quote

frankoz Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I'm here to rant about a self-referring cringe movie by a band whose music had influenced my life since I was a teenager, while the world is burning on and on. Better read Guy Debord's "The Society of the Spectacle" and do something for your community. That's my whole rant. Thank you for your attention. 1 Quote
andyd498 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago movies gonna be sick the guy with dreadlocks is the lead singer of a local atlanta band called The Paradox. great music, highly reccomend checking them out they actually opened for Green Day at their Atlanta stop during the tour 1 1 Quote
The Grohl Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I still don't care about this movie It looks fine! It would be cool to host a watch party on GDC. I'd rather see it with my Green Day peeps than just by myself. 1 Quote

billy1986 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I’d rather them do a biopic of the band personally than a movie inspired by the early days. I also hope that if they did write new songs for the movie we get versions of Green Day playing them as opposed to the actors. Hopefully there is a soundtrack with some new songs or rare live songs. From memory i think they preformed know your enemy, Basketcase, and good riddance live for the movie maybe holiday too I recall them posting a set list when they had extras for a mini concert that takes place in the movie Quote
