Lindsay Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 Please use this thread to talk about Green Day's shows at Wiener Stadthalle on June 17th + 18th, 2025. Quote
greendepent Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 I'm very tempted to travel to Europe and assist to one of these shows. I got the money to do such mad move, the main problem I feel is that logistics would be a nightmare and my own anxiety. But well, let's see what happens 1 Quote

I've been saving for quite some time. I'm crazy enough to travel half the world for one show. I can't live with the FOMO anymore lol 1 Quote

Even though the concert didn't happen (thanks terrorists), I had a really great time in the city itself. Not crazy at all to fly across the world for a show. Feel free to message if you want any travel tips for the area to help ease your mind! 2 Quote
*dry_ice* Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Good morning everyone, I am starting to consider getting ticket for at least one of this two shows. When purchasing the ticket, there’s two entrances… north and south. Which one is the left and right side of the stage? Thanks a lot!!! Quote
JasonofSuburbia Posted February 28 Posted February 28 110 days until I see Green Day again. Can't bloody wait. Just need to book some flights! 2 1 Quote

Going by this map north seems to be Mike's side, and South Jason White's side. If I remember correctly from the European Tour thread, people who've been to this venue before said this is only for entrance to the venue, but that there are no actual divisions between the two sides on the floor. 1 Quote

Normally there isn't a barrier on the floor between south and north, at least not at the shows at Stadthalle that I attended Quote
GreenDay_Fan Posted March 3 Posted March 3 (edited) Are we allowed to sell tickets on here? My plans changed (I got a Hellfest resale 4 day pass lol), so I'm looking to sell 1 Front of Stage Standing Ticket for the Wednesday, June 18th (Night 2) show for what I paid for it, $142.61 USD (~$137 Euros). Accepting payment over PayPal Goods and Services and I'll email the PDF ticket to you, or if you would rather be more secure and willing to pay a little extra to cover fees, a TicketSwap private link. Mollyluna Posted March 26 Posted March 26 On Reddit I‘ve seen that the opener for Vienna has been announced. It‘s Wunderhorse. Don‘t know them, but @MillenniumFan has recommended them in the General Chat various times. 1 Quote
MillenniumFan Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Is that Wunderhorse I hear you say? *looks over at empty wallet and weeps* Wunderhorse + Green Day is indeed a fking great combination. I know I'm a bit of a fanboy, but they are fantastic imho. Whoever makes it to this/these gig(s), enjoy Also, does anyone think they might record the shows, seeing they're playing two nights? I was wondering the same thing for Yokohama. I mean, people talked about there being cameras at the Wembley gig last summer, but nothing much seems to have come from that thus far? 1 2 Quote
Tomcat20 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Is anyone here going to the concerts in Vienna? I'm looking for a ride towards southern Germany after the show on June 18. Any tips on where to find a lift or how to connect with people? There's nothing on BlaBlaCar yet, and FlixBus hasn’t been much help either. Quote

That’s too late for you I guess? Quote
greendepent Posted April 10 Posted April 10 It's me again! I'm looking for a ticket for the first show. I have seen there's a few at viagogo. Is that site safe? Quote

I've used Viagogo before and had no problems, but I've read a lot of horror stories from Green Day fans in Europe recently, so I wouldn't recommend it – especially not to anyone travelling such a long way. This is the official resale site: https://www.fansale.at/tickets/all/green-day/502123#2566514 Keep checking and a ticket should come up. I'm not going (yet), but I'm considering it. Keep looking at the resale site to reassure myself that I will get a ticket if I decide I want one, even though I'm broke right now and too old to not pay my bills 1 Quote

I'll keep checking to see if other types of tickets appear! Clearly I need some security so this will work wonders Quote

Susi Sour cream Posted April 11 Posted April 11 If you're looking for tickets you can also keep an eye on the German fansale page 🙂 https://www.fansale.de/tickets/all/green-day/252#3628949 1 Quote
JasonofSuburbia Posted April 11 Posted April 11 I have a free night in Vienna on the 17th. Is anyone local and can give me some good nightlife recommendations please? Aware Google exists, but would rather hear proper local suggestions and not tourist traps ideally! Somewhere I can (poorly) attempt my German 😂 Quote
