This is amazing, what a labour of love! Thank you for sharing.  All we need now are translations from someone!

Yes, here! 🙂 If you want the translation for a specific passage, just ask. Translating all of it might be a little bit too much though... 😉

When I have the time, I will see through all these articles. Let's see what I can find. A lot of them are from BRAVO, this was a youth magazine of... let's say not very high journalistic quality... But maybe there are hidden gems!?

Might be better if I only write here when I find a real hidden gem… 😅

That would be great, and sensible! Thank you.

Little update:
I just noticed that I forgot to upload the first 3 images (incl. the cover) of "Rockin' On" from 2005/05.

Now added:
"Crossbeat Special Edition" from 2010

Just to be clear, some things are incomplete like some of the Crossbeat Special Edition, which are pretty thick books in comparison and I didn't scan straight interview pages of those books and of some Japanese mags I scanned those pages as well, since they are fewer.

Today I got some things I found in my GD picture archive I scanned years ago and just put it away for myself:
Some Japanese promo stickers, some album promo stickers, postcards and a few patches I rarely see on ebay. There are some scans of album ads and some pages of songbooks!
I also added some scans of vinyl bootlegs.

To make it easier on everyone I included the file list for those here:

Nah, that would be too much of a hassle for me since I have too many time consuming hobbies, but I have seen a lot of stuff in your collection I don't have - I'm very jealous :D

Update:
The files with the name "1995 - New Age Punks" were now identified as being part of the story "Punk" and "New Age Punks" in the Magazine Music Life from May 1995, so the file names were changed accordingly.
Today I received the parcel from Japan I mentioned earlier containing 11 magazines, 10 of those featured Green Day (partially on the cover) and I just scanned them all. So if you're interested in cool photos and interesting ads, stay tuned. There will be updates in the next weeks. I try to only update when I have uploaded a bulk of images.

Just added:
WARNING Tour Booklet (this is quite large and a little tricky to scan and edit, took me quite some time, but I uploaded it all for you :) ) -> "Green Day Warning Tour Booklet" in the folder 2000-2008

interesting, i wonder it and Favorite Son would have gone on the album had either one or both been included
Edit: holy shit this tracklist is like, super different
no Rebel, Are We and St Jimmy havent been split yet, Letterbomb is still called Clusterbomb and the album is divided up into chapters like 21CB and When It's Time closes out the album instead of Whatsername

I just recalled another thought about the tracklist when I saw it: Maybe "When It's Time" and "Favorite Son" were considered as bonus tracks for Japan (since Favorite Son is waaaay down there) and they decided against it. Who knows :)
