i could see When It's time closing AI out though, bonus or not, while Favorite Son could take the place of She's a Rebel (which im assuming wasnt on the album yet, nearly a month away from its release)

Hey @Karl Karlson, there's a particular magazine scan I'm looking for I need some help sourcing. It's from November 15th 1994 in Denver, Colorado (linked below for reference). It's a snap of Billie with his striped "Mark" shirt on and blonde hair. For the life of me, I can't recall the magazine it came out of but it was a full page image. I had it saved years ago, but lost it to time. Any help is appreciated, and thank you for the archiving you've done so far!

Unfortunately I haven't found any trace of that. But I hope we can get it at some point
I wasn't collecting images/photos of magazine clippings before, so I only really have my own archive and some random pictures on my hard drive (but still none fitting your descriptions).

I have hundreds of magazines still to be photographed or scanned. I'd say a few really old ones but don't remember what's in them any more as they've been boxed up for about 13 years. If I do find it down the line will post but it could be a while

Sadly I've been kinda sick (earlier this year I couldn't go to the Japan shows because of dangerously high blood pressure and just haven't been right since). Also been trying to stay off the internet too. Starting to feel a little more human the last couple of weeks. Hope you're keeping well.

My focus has been all over the place the last few months. But I have some scans from magazines from 1997 and 2005 ready to be edited and the "Special Limited Edition" booklet (incl. the plastic sleeve) of WARNING. I might find the time during the holidays :)

Update 2025/12/19:
Added scans of my booklet of the Special Limited Edition of WARNING. This booklet was unused, so it was hard to scan. I only scanned the plastic bag (front, back), the front of the digipak, the CD and the special booklet, not the regular booklet).
Yes, this is the only version of the "Warning"-CD in a Digipak and as far as I know the only official version where the color of the CD is green, not orange.

Edit: holy shit this tracklist is like, super different
no Rebel, Are We and St Jimmy havent been split yet, Letterbomb is still called Clusterbomb and the album is divided up into chapters like 21CB and When It's Time closes out the album instead of Whatsername

The early version of American Idiot album didn't include She's A Rebel and Letterbomb is named as Clusterbomb. There's a photo of that early version online and somewhere in my computer, if I find it later, I will post it. It's more like the version of the album which is forwarded to the record label for approval.

 

***On the other hand, may anyone post the scan of the AI 20th booklet where Rob Cavallo talks about C&V ??
