I got seated tickets this time: my 15-year streak of standing shows has finally come to an end, haha. I prefer the comfort of singing and dancing without being pushed around now. I am staying at the Hilton that is adjacent the arena. Any suggestions for a place to meet up? Is anyone concerned about this eplus app we have to use to "pick up" tickets? I'm travelling solo, this is my fourth trip to Japan and I did the other 3 solo too so I'm used to things generally. I've not been to Yokohama before so i'm not really knowledgeable on the area, but there does seem to be a bar called Melody Bar which is right near the Hilton and the arena itself, I'll probably head there for a pre-gig drink, so that could be a good place to meet if you want? This sounds great! It looks like the Melody Bar is in the lobby of my hotel! When you say solo, do you mean traveling to Japan or the concert or both? Impressed! Can I send you my phone#? Haha thanks! I just went to a lot of gigs solo when I was a teenager so I got used to it, it does make things much easier sometimes for sure. Sure thing, that'd make it easier to arrange times and whatnot, the only thing is I can only use whatsapp while I'm in japan because my SIM card is a data only SIM Quote
GingerG Posted February 20 Posted February 20 (edited) Anyone who is interested in meeting for a drink prior to Tuesday's show in Yokohama is welcome to join us at the Melody Bar inside the Hilton that is adjacent the venue. It looks like the show starts at 7:00 pm so I was thinking about 5:00. Not sure what to expect with queueing but we can figure it out together. I will be wearing a Green day T-shirt & white sneakers and I am short (female) with dark hair, With me will be Nikki (Splotnik). She also looks to have dark hair and will surely be taller than me lol. ALL are welcome and I am excited to meet new Green Day friends from anywhere in the world! Edited February 20 by GingerG Quote
