Can't understand why they do this to the vocal track, and how on earth Billie could approve it.

Yeah I really, really hate the autotune. Billie doesn't need that, I don't get it. Saw them in Atlanta in August and have watched several fan recorded videos from this summer, he sounded great. Grrrrr. 

Does he necessarily have to approve it though? Green Day's management company oversees the YouTube channel, at least according to Google.
