If all of the songs on the album, Living in the 20’s has definitely grown on me the most!

Can gladly say after nearly a month this album is still really strong for me. The only skips for me are Father to a Son and Living in the 20s occasionally

Looks like their steaming #’s are holding steady! Keep it up everyone. I really want to see this album have legs. It deserves it. This album is far too good to suffer a fate of fading away out of the Top 200 after just a few weeks. It would be amazing to see it hangout in the Top 200 all year while they’re on tour.

Coma City is low for it's place early in the tracklist and Suzie Chapstick is high for it's place later in the tracklisting.   Everything else is pretty normal with the singles getting most of the attentions and a steady decline throughout the tracklist.....spending all day every day with Fancy Sauce has been fruitless because you guys clearly aren't supporting the effort, lol.   At least Basketcase is all set to surpass a billion plays on the 22nd or 23rd of this month, which is insane.  Just off the top of my head, System of a Down are the only of my favorite bands with OVER a billion plays, thanks to a little ditty called CHOP SUEY.   Looking a bit deeper, Blink-182 have All the Small Streams and then Nirvana, Linkin Park, Gorlliaz, Foo Fighters and WOW Red Hot Chili Peppers have more billion+ songs than all those guys....and oh my gosh, the Killers have over 2 billion for one song!

Still not bored with this album. Good sign! 

BUT! Personally I love RevRad more. Probably because of all the thing the came with it. The tour with like 7 single from the album played live. That was Green Day only with Against Me! opening for them. They came to my city. 

Now with Saviors the album is good. But everything is different. This time I can't see them because they only comes to Toronto or Montréal (MTL being a festival so no AI and Dookie in full). Ticket prices are ridiculous. They have like 4 bands opening before them.

This album continues to be solid as we near a month out. FOAM was boring to me a few days in. Saviors has a lot of re-listen value and I think it’s due to a) good songs b) but also songs that have some variety in them. A lot of Saviors songs aren’t predictable after the first chorus and change things up even in small ways to keep it interesting. Nothing wild but even take a short song like 1981 that changes up the instrumentation at times to keep it feeling fresh.

I partially agree. Right now, I think Saviors is definitely the better album, BUT the vibe of the RevRad era is just unmatched. Back then, it was just about the new album. No anniversaries, no tours with three other bands, just Green Day and their new songs. Saviors is such a great album, it’s too good to be used as a vehicle to promote the anniversaries of Dookie and AI. Of course the tour hasn’t started yet but I doubt we’ll get to hear as many new songs as we did during the RevRad tour. But I don’t want to sound grumpy. It’s an awesome album and it’s still great to see the band in action!

Hopefully when the smoke clears and we can legit talk about Album 15, Green Day will be in a place where they can simply promote new music.   While we all have our favorite albums, I don't think the majority of people want a huge celebration for any of the others.   Green Day should refine their setlist with a hits spanning every album and also 4-5 new songs each time around.  I'd say 15 massive hits, 4 new singles, and 2 or 3 whatever non-single they want to do.

Apart from the Saviors tour which will probably feature at least a couple of songs played live. Even though they're gonna be playing AI & Dookie in full, I think they will be able to play some more songs and I'm sure they will be able to fit in 2-3 new songs at least. I doubt they'd call it the Saviors tour and then just completely ignore it.

There could be music/lyric videos releasing at some point. Ik RevRad got some lyric videos for some of the non-singles, FOAMF's promotion I think promo was almost entirely stopped when Covid hit but Sugar Youth got a lyric video too. We could be getting more of those "making of" videos and/or maybe a documentary similar to Cuatro

I’m still surprised at the lack of appearances on late night shows. It seems like they have been more focused on private events, which is interesting to me.

Maybe they did their research and found those promo appearances don’t do anything for them in terms of sales or streams so it’s better to do paid appearances

Is there research that actually backs that up? Genuine question, because I feel like promotion can’t do any harm, and those TV appearances seem relatively easy since it’s one song and they dip.
