Another one! This is less of an interview and more like a bunch of statements/facts about himself. The revelation that he likes The Bachelor is rather amusing, but there's a bunch of good stuff here. 😆

@amberwhiteI thought it was so funny that the article is about "What I've Learned" and the first blurb is he likes black. Gee, you don't say. At what point did he learn that? 😂

One thing I will say about this article is that I think it's edited weird to make shorter blurbs, and that makes some of the individual statements read a little strange (the liking black one stands on its own though, so he can own that one ). I think the few blurbs about his family were meant to go together (with the thing he learned being how difficult it was for his family to deal with his dad's death), the three relating to spirituality go together, not living in LA/likes being a normal person/then he plays a gig and likes being a rock star go together, two blurbs about sobriety go together. I noticed this when I read the "Right now I don't drink" comment and I was like "not my favorite way you've phrased that, but ok" until I realized it was directly connected to the thought about it about falling off the wagon. If you read these sections as whole paragraphs, they make more sense. 

These are my professional editorial thoughts.

That was okay. But I agree it's put together oddly. I hate that there's no lead in to Billie's quotes. It's just Green day are touring and releasing a new album. I like to wear black. 

I had to do a double take to make sure I didn't miss anything. It seems like they did a basic tell me about yourself and family interview and then broke it up into bite sized chunks for this article for more engagement because everyone has poor attention span.

@The GrohlI agree, it badly needed some sort of intro beyond the subhead. Starting off with “I love black” is confusing lol. Would’ve been nice if they put it into context — just a simple “here’s some tidbits he shared with us in an interview” or “here’s what he said via email.” Or you know, just made it a regular Q&A. I know listicles are appealing to short attention spans, but give us a little more to work with! (Regardless, it’s still valuable information that he watches The Bachelor, so.)
