Stern speaks to them with such admiration and awe for their talent, and asks excellent, well-researched questions without ever interrupting. I noticed he started to ask if they knew Billy Corgan, but stopped to let them speak and didn’t come back to that question for like another 10 minutes. Love that. Absolutely loved the early conversation about how they first got into music and when they knew they could have careers as musicians. The stuff about Billie playing nursing homes was so cute.
