'Saviors' listening parties - starting Jan. 13!

Yeah I love sitting on my couch and listen to the whole record on headphones.

So maybe thats something they could change in the future. Something like a sign up for a prelistening party, where everyone gets a headphone (or bring your own) and a booklet/lyrics and listen on your own. After that you can talk with other fans and their opinions about it. That would be nice

As someone who would prefer to be by myself this is just an excuse for me to socialise with random people who probably vary in age ranges, some could probably be like a whole 40 years older even. Kinda hoping that's not completely the case and I'm able to see people in... at least Gen Z...

YAAAASSS! We planned on going to Used Kids on Summit (across from Rumba Cafe) because it starts at 2, an hour earlier than Spoonful. Magnolia Thunderpussy didn't have a time listed and hasn't posted anything yet. Used Kids seems to always have their shit together, that's where we went to get the Rev Rad masks way back when!  

Sadly I won't have much time to mingle afterward but I'm free any time beforehand! Not sure what time we should get there to make sure we get merch. They open at 10.

Yeah, Used Kids is great. My brother is good friends with the owners at Spoonful, so I am waiting to hear if he's able to do this or not.

i've never been to a listening party before can someone explains what happens ? 

like do you go into a private room and listen with other people or do you get a private booth or something to listen to the whole record ?

The store told me they just put the record in the stereo and you can shop while listening to the album.

It seems like each place is just doing their own thing. I see that some people that are  going to other places just signed up and got a ticket right away. For Oslo you can sign up at three different sites for some reason and they will announce who got tickets next week. 

I don't understand why we got a listening party and no tour date though.

I've only been to one in an alternative clothing store. It was for The Murderdolls. They just put on the album in the store while you shopped. They had a contest for some signed goodies and those who entered the store and mentioned they were there for the listening party got two free exclusive posters. I still have both of mine 🙂 they also held a discount for those who mentioned the Murderdolls at checkout.

Are some or all of them going to any of the events? I only ask because on Spotify, it shows three events for the 13th in London, Bristol, and Brighton. I know that's the listening party day, but seemed odd that only those dates were on Spotify.

I‘m going to one of these events. I dont spoiler anyone, maybe drop my opinion about the album without details. But these events got potential if they work on the concept a little bit
