Starting today, Green Day brings three decades of groundbreaking punk exploration and innovation to their very own SiriusXM channel, Green Day Radio, to celebrate the release of their fourteenth studio album, Saviors.

How to listen to Green Day Radio

Green Day Radio will be available on channel 107 in cars and on the SiriusXM app from December 27 through January 23.

What you’ll hear on Green Day Radio

On Green Day Radio, you’ll hear exclusive stories and insight from Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool. They’ll not only walk you through Green Day’s biggest tracks — including recently-released album tracks and demos from the 30th anniversary deluxe edition of Dookie — but also brand new music from Saviors, with insight into every song from the new album as they become available.

The band will also introduce us to music from artists that have influenced them at every level of their legendary career, including AC/DC, Hüsker Dü, Ramones, Social Distortion, and Metallica, as well as modern artists they’re into now, like Ultra Q and The Interrupters. Plus, enjoy songs from the bands joining Green Day on their Saviors Tour in 2024: Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and Linda Lindas.

 

There’s also info about the Irving Plaza show which is a Sirius event and will be broadcast on the channel I put that in the show thread but it’s also at the link.

I’ve been listening to the channel and it plays lots of cool deep tracks I’m leaving this on 24/7 it’s amazing.

Finally getting Trilogy songs on the radio again lol. And it’s so weird to hear songs like Sweet Children too. Very fun (Now they’re playing No One Knows. So glad it’s not just a Hella Mega playlist)

Listening to the sheer range of songs they're playing and the way they're mixed together makes me really appreciate their body of work.  Such a range of styles and sounds. I usually listen to whole albums at a time and Spotify never gives you a deep mix like this, but the diversity they've achieved over three decades is really kind of spectacular and I love all of it.  They have so much to be proud of.

I was listening to Blonde on Blonde yesterday (which Billie said he was listening to when making Warning), and it did remind me of Misery (which is one of my favorite GD songs).

XM radio is cool and all, but they won't ever play my mix of Green Day.   725 songs on Spotify plus over 1000 mp3s and videos on my computer, plus the music on greenday.fm.....love that they are playing Trilogy stuff.   How about FOAM?  If they play some deep foam stuff, it has my blessing.   Deep foam.   Forever
