Joe K Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Soo, when are we expecting for this tour to happen? When we’re gonna have an announcement? Which countries are you hoping for the band to visit this time around? Discuss here. Quote
jengd Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 If this is right and US/Canada tour is late July to late September, I’ thinking EU/Uk possible April/May which would give them some time off. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cyyw7jUt78m/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== 3 Quote
Tomcat20 Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 I‘d rather see them playing Europe in May and June. Pretty sure they gonna play Rock am Ring because it happens that the festival is revealing the first line-up on the exact day Green Day is supposed to release their schedule. 4 Quote
Digoco Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 It’ll be similar to Hella Mega I guess. End of May through begining of July. Mix of festivals and own shows. Many festivals have anouncements scheduled for the first week of november, so it makes sense Green Day will be part of it. I’m pretty sure they will play an outdoor show in Spain in July. 2 Quote
.Holly Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 I had interpreted from their announcement at the Vegas "secret" show that EU/UK would be after the US, but I could be wrong. Quote

Beathe. Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 In the spring/fall I assume. I hope it won't be a similar line up as the US tour. Hella Mega was enough. I'm planning on going to several shows. I hope they will play in at least two Scandinavian countries, so that it won't be too expensive. 3 Quote
sara_gd Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I don’t think they’ll wait until the summer if they release the album in January! So I’m hoping for two legs. 1 Quote

Yep, they could be finishing up with Rock am Ring and that would still give them a few weeks off before starting in US late July. 7 hours ago, .Holly said: I had interpreted from their announcement at the Vegas "secret" show that EU/UK would be after the US, but I could be wrong. I did too but not from their latest tweet. Or they may just mean the announcement is next. 1 Quote
elephantstone Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Yeah far more likely that UK/EU will be May/June than anything else. In the UK they would be a pretty nailed on BST headliner if that’s their gig. Glastonbury would be awesome but more likely just a tour with the odd festival dotted in imo. Quote

They're definitely headlining BST and / or Reading. I don't see Glastonbury happening, but happy to be proven wrong. 1 Quote

Charly04 Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I hope they play Festivals and some Soloshows in May / June and then come back in autumn / winter for an arenatour. Quote
Insomniac90 Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I‘m also pretty sure for RaR/RiP. In 2017 they headlined Hurricane which is 2 weeks later but I doubt they‘re playing there. I think the tour is going from may to beginning july and go back to US 1 Quote
No Brains Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I'm assuming the tour dates will be released 2 Nov. How long after the announcement can you buy tickets? Do they go on sale straight away or is it a month or so after? I need to know whether to start saving sooner rather than later 😁 Quote
Insomniac90 Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Just now, No Brains said: I'm assuming the tour dates will be released 2 Nov. How long after the announcement can you buy tickets? Do they go on sale straight away or is it a month or so after? I need to know whether to start saving sooner rather than later 😁 Mostly 2-5 days after announcement. When you pre order the album you get an extra code. I think for those who pre ordered the presale will be on monday 6th and public on 7th Quote
No Brains Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Omg thank you!! How do I pre order the album?? Will Spotify do it? I'm really hoping for good seats but I need to know the venues first and work out my plan for the best seats 😁 Quote
Insomniac90 Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 No Spotify won‘t do it 😂 go to greenday.com they directs you to the official store where you can choose the format for the album. Its only for UK/EU, US will probably be in a few weeks You will know the dates and venue a few days before presale. Which country do you live? Quote
ThranaM Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 To get early access to ticket sales for EU/UK, you can sign up here: https://register.warnerartists.net/greenday/ You do not need to order anything from the store to get the access code (wich will be sent out probably on 2nd of nov?) 3 Quote

Confirmed this with the store’s support, will be 1 presale regardless of whether you’ve purchased or went through no purchase necessary 3 1 Quote

But on the other hand, they already played RaR/RiP in 2022 (originally scheduled for 2020), so they would be headliner twice in just two years. But who knows? I saw them at RiP in 2022, but this time I probably won't buy festival tickets and count on more solo shows - hopefully more than the only one in Berlin they played last year in Germany! Quote

Yeah but a lot of Bands played their every 2 years (Linkin Park 2012/14, Muse 2018/2020 or more 22 😂). Even Korn and Cro played two years in a row. But I‘m sure and hope next year has a better line up than this year. But I‘ll go to RaR and 1-2 shows Quote
MillenniumFan Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Man Glastonbury would be amazing but not holding my breath. Also, I'd love for them to come to Greenfield again, that's my favourite festival in Switzerland. It's just such a great size, around 30'000 people and great location, very well organised etc. Equally, I'd be over the moon if they went to TRNSMT, my absolute favourite music festival, but they've never been there, though they did play at T in the park in 2005 and were also all set to play at Bellahouston Park in 2017 (the same location as TRNSMT), before that event then got cancelled. Anyone remember that whole drama? They then did eventually perform there in 2022. Of course, the number one thing I'd love for them to do is to play some club shows, but that just seems about as likely as them playing Nightlife live. Quote
þjáningu Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 It's a long shot since no artist really comes here but I would love it if they came to Reykjavík But if they play in Glasgow , Scotland again then I'll be there 💜 Might even go to London aswell 😇 3 Quote
