Green Day US summer stadium tour 2024 w/Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, Linda Linda's

All I'm hoping for is that for us bay area fans, that stadium tour actually means they'll play at the stadiums here lol. We have 3 big stadiums in the bay area and the boys rarely seem to play at any.  They tend to stick to the indoor arenas here more than anything. And when they do outdoor summer shows, they usually go to the Shoreline down in Mountain View. They've literally only played the stadiums here a handful of times. They should book Levi's Stadium next. Or Oakland again since there's a possibility it could be one of the Coliseum's last big acts.  🙂

1995 Oakland Coliseum

2005 SBC Park (Now Oracle Park)

2013 Oracle Park

2017 Oakland Coliseum

2021 Oracle Park

They're touring with the wrong SP.

I know Pierre would have been so happy to tour with Green Day.

Also, I swear to god “Green Day - Live at the Oakland Coliseum” what a wasted opportunity for a great live album name!

I’m curious. They could have legit info or just guessing I suppose.

They're not making it up, they really know the tour dates and playing this annoying game of giving hints. They have no connection with the band but they're like stalkers (if I remember correctly, the admin camped out for days outside Rak Studios when Green Day were recording) so I'm not surprised they managed to get this info.

I see. Thanks. I wonder if I know this person. Well, at least we’ve got hints? 😅

Tour dates to be announced next week according to their recent Instagram post.

If it’s just this stadium tour and no club/smaller shows I will riot.

Liam hinted in another thread that something will happen between now and tour-kickoff.

I apologize if this is a dumb question.

I am so used to just buying festival tickets as that's what GD has been doing for 2022 and 2023. Those were easy to get. I don't remember how Hella Mega tickets were to get bc that was back in 2020/2021.

The tour gets announced on the 2nd, then tickets go live a week later? Are you able to buy multiple tickets? (I wanna buy one for my city, and 2 different tickets for 2 different states).

I don't remember how buying "non festival tickets work" will pit/ GA tickets only be available for a week after? Or as long as festival ones stay up? I have saved up enough to go to 3 shows. I just don't wanna lose my chance bc I forgot how buying non fest tickets are. Like when they go live would I have to have 3 different tabs open to buy 3 tickets for 3 different shows/ states?

again sorry for the dumb question :P

and if I get to go to more than 3 shows but don't buy more than 3 pit/ GA tickets after they go live. Do you guys know any second hand ticket websites that don't hike the prices up as much if you wait a bit?

It suck living in Nova Scotia, to go to a show i have to travel 1000 kilometers or more depending where they play in canada, plus paying a hotel. I barely make enough money to get by, i can't afford the travel expenses. Why can't they have shows in Nova Scotia, Canada?

Club shows are the priority, but I definitely want to do a show in addition to my usual philly/nyc area stops.

just gotta figure out which ones.

Only thing I know for sure is they've said it's a four ticket max per person (in 2009 it was two tickets max per person and anyone buying more than that had them cancelled out).

We actually bought extra tickets off ebay back then. I can't believe we did that and it was OK! I wouldn't recommend it!

Otherwise buying tickets can depend how fast your Internet connection is and obviously how many others are trying for tickets at the same time

If I remember rightly (it was so long now) buying for HM with a pre-sale code was ok, and I was able to buy multiple locations for Revrad.

@Rumpelstiltskin2000 you reminded me, I got scammed in 2009 for my first time seeing GD and it was horrible for a few days but thankfully I git it sorted and because I had used my credit card, I git the money back! They were still worth it.

You can buy a ticket for a show and after that you can go back to the start and choose another location. But Ticketmaster used to have a lot of error series during presale (I wasted 2 presale codes because the site fucked it up).

For secondhand Tickets, I dont know what its called in the US but we have something called „eBay Kleinanzeigen“. Its from eBay but more like a flea market, where you can pay  cash at the sellers door if you dont wanna get scammed (most prices are original pricr or plus 10€ or something). Never had a Problem with it. Eventim also has a flea market „Fansale“
